While Vegas is the city for gambling, strip-tease clubs and express weddings, Ronan Guillou prefers focusing his lens on the arid and deserted valley.
The Frenchy photographer thus pursues his work on American landscapes with a series of snapshots that have a tad melancholic touch, showcased at the Artazart bookshop. Stunning images that show the gap between the solitude of certain locals and the fever of glam’ casinos.
We like: for the anecdote, the fact Ronan Guillou spent one month in a motel making sure his spools were preserved from the heat by putting them in the minibar !
