The most design: Fornasetti at the Musuem of Decorative Arts

La Plus Design Fornasetti Aux Arts Decoratifs

Still today, a piece of furniture or a decorating element signed Piero Fornasetti, is the assurance of a super hype venue. Philippe Starck in person is a great fan of this wildly poetic style, a tad oniric and definitely surrealistic universe of the Italian artist.

The Museum of Decorative Arts is showcasing an amazing retrospective around a thousand archive pieces to be discovered under the main nave. Canvases, screens, chairs, all sorts of decorating objects … Because this slasher before the times, started out with paintings in the 30s, then launched into printing. After he became publisher, decorator, collector, gallery owner and art dealer.

An outstanding career marked by the cult plates representing opera singer Lina Cavalieri.

We like: the singular universe of this artiste that is still in the spotlight today.
