Even better than TV reality: shopping-reality ! This boutique is quite obviously one of the most atypical in Paris because Chez Moi is in fact the home of Jean-Baptiste. The young man lives and sleeps in his concept-store, an apartment where everything is for sale.
From the dining room table to good looking books on the bookshelves, including vases, photos hanging on the walls, tableware and clothing on racks, you can buy it all. And this gent has taste. There was a very careful selection that runs the gamut from designer furniture as well as more affordable objects (iPhone cases and audio helmets signed Ora-Ïto, tote-bags, mugs, fanzine…). Unusual finds to pick up in every little corner of his home sweet home (count between 5 and 8000 €).
We like: an experience that flirts with the arty performance.
The plus : the kitchen corner to come nibble on a sandwich au passage (Wednesday to Friday, count 9,50 € with a drink).
It should be noted that Jean-Baptiste has a second home at MAMO, on the roof of the Cité Radieuse in Marseille, until 30 Sepember 2014.
Open every day except Monday from10am to 8pm.
