Discover the new exhibitions of Palazzo Grassi, built in the 18th century and redesigned by architect Tadao Ando, one of the two locations of the Pinault Foundation. Until 31 December, one finds there 130 of the amazing images of American photographer Irving Penn.

On the first level of the Palazzo, the fascinating “Illusione della luce” exhibition (The illusion of Light ). Hopping over to see the other place of the Pinault Foundation, Punta della Dogana in a breathtaking pink brick 17th century building. (Closed on Tuesday).

Right acoss the way, don’t miss the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the eccentric American millionaire who lived for 30 years in this 18th century palace where one can admire part of her collection that includes Picasso, Kandinsky, Klee, Miro, Bacon…
