Youpi, the new bakery-pastry of Eugène reconciles sweet tooth gals with their conscience and (overly) gourmet diabetics with their glycemic index.
How? Thanks to cakes, viennoiseries and chocolate bars with much less sugar and fat. It has taken three years of research to produce these dietetically correct treats, compatible even with diabetes. The result is quite simply bluffing.
A quick peek? A fabulous lemon meringue tart (3,30€), an amazing pastry puff Saint-Honoré, a joyful strawberry tart, wild chocolate candies, stunning croissants (1,10€), without counting their chocolate delight, a chocolate mousse on a praline biscuit with a dash of salt (3,50€), mmhm.
Without unveiling their manufacturing secrets, the idea is to privilege fibers (lentil and chick pea flours) that slow down the passage of sugar in the blood, thus avoiding the glycemic peak. Another advantage, their satiety effect. After eating a cake, you are no longer hungry.
Careful, the boutique is currently closed during for the holidays. Reopening on the 28th of April.
Tuesday to Saturday from 7h30 am to 8pm. On Sunday from 9am to 2pm.
