Le petit Matieu new hot spot on the Canal

School chairs, 70s wallpaper, old wine crates as shelves, a rustic and vintage look made of serendipity items found at the flea markets: here is the new bobo-gourmet scene for crazy happy hours.

Le Petit Matieu, opened by Mathieu Gontier, is the new hotspot for fashionistas around Canal Saint Martin.

As soon as it’s time for the happy hour, this wine bar with a retro inspiration features small traditional plates as well as creative dishes ideal for calory-counting twigs and hungry customers.

If you have a sweet tooth, it will be hard to resist the Homemade French toast (8€)

Eats need to be accompanied by a good glass of wine to pick amongst twenty references (from 4 to 6 € per glass).

Tops : great ambience with the playlist concocted by super DJs.

We like : lunch menus that change every day at affordable prices.

Lunch formulas at 14 € and 18 €
