Vintage clothes, brunch and cocktails...

La Refinery

Second-hand is the new chic. At the hour of slow fashion, consuming fashion in an responsible and ethical manner by recycling your wardrobe is the fashion statement to follow.

And this has been perfectly understood by the vintage and solidary e-shop La Refinery, that is offering to fashionistas a green “open vintage clothing” event in the beautiful Galerie Joseph, right near Beaubourg, in the Marais.

To take even more advantage of the experience:  there will be a great home-made brunch all day long and a cocktails bar with a DJ at happy hour…

The ideal occasion to shop at easy-going prices cult and super quality pieces: a Burberry trench coat in mint condition, the must-have denim pieces by Levi’s (jackets, jeans, shorts…), a cashmere boyfriend coat, dresses with liberty motifs, polka dot trapeze skirts for long legs or the perfect little black dress.

Reminder : La Refinery (founded by a survivor of the 13th November attacks, passionate about fashion) organises her own solidary actions. In partnership with the association Le Carillon, homeless people can order and come pick up clothing in certain shops and 70 % of the benefits are immediately donated to humanitarian associations. We say: bravo !

The nice idea: in order to be sure to have a resolutely trendy selection, participants can answer a short questionnaire depending on their morphology, their style and their whims.

We also like : the photo exhibition of artist Mélanie Doh, a space where you can get a tattoo for €50 (yes, yes), stands by sustainable designers…

Friday the 9th to Sunday the 11th of February from 10am to 10pm at 236 rue Saint-Martin, 75003. Free entrance. More info on www.facebook.com.
