The first perfume signed Alaïa

Alaia Parfumerie

Being different from others has always been the claim to fame of Azzedine Alaïa. The couturier, who sent by the wayside all the diktats of collections to follow his own rhythm of creation, always refused to launch a perfume in his own name. He was waiting for the right timing.

The moment finally happened. So here is Alaïa Paris, his first fragrance that is supposed to be a reminder of the smell of cold water on very hot quicklime, according to his wish. An airy essence, spiked with floral touches and an animal note.

We adore: the couture bottle, showcasing the signature perforations of the couturier-architect’s dresses.

Alaïa Paris, 125€ for 100 ml, preview from the 22nd of June to the 5th of July at Galeries Lafayette.
