Specialist of coffee table books, Täschen knows how to give the simplest book the allure of an art work. Always on the cusp, the German publishing house has just set up an ephemeral pop-up in the Marais.
Until 28 December, this über-arty space presents all the best-sellers, cult works including the very daring Little Book of Butts featuring photos of fannies, the latest titles including the album of Bert Stern with photos of Marilyn and on the upper level, a gallery dedicated to special editions and collector items with a room dedicated to the XXL book of Annie Leibowitz.
