Bulula Arepera, the hot Latina spot

Bululu arepera venezuelian restaurant

The caliente rythms of the Hispanic playlist set the tone. This serendipity micro-counter is dedicated to arepa, the small round bread from Venezuela.

Rather healthy street-food since this small ball is home kneaded with no-gluten corn flour.

Grainy and crunchy on the surface, super soft inside, you stuff it with typical local ingredients (6-8€). On the menu, a dozen delicious sandwiches.

The  must-try recipe? Pabellon with black beans, beef, tajadas (fried plantanes) and cheese, the equivalent of our ham and butter specialty.

For lunch the great 9,50€ formula includes a soup (beef broth) and an arepa of your choice: reina (cream of chicken and avocado) or serpentina (black beans, avocado, tajadas and cheese).

We adore: the Saturday brunches. This time, bread is served plain on well-garnished plates: black beans, Venezuelan scrambled eggs, avocado, cheese, spicy pork sausage… (starting at 17€).

Open Wednesday to Saturday from noon to 11pm. Sunday from noon to 10pm.
