Brunch et and bookworming at Une souris et des hommes

Une souris et des hommes literary brunch

She has just opened in the very trendy South Pigalle. The Une Souris et des Hommes pastry show is the new hideaway to come feed your soul as well as your tummy. Because this design and cozy tea salon doubles up as a bookshop space.

At the origin of this project, two computer refugees and a politic science student, reconverted as a librarian for Damien and pâtissiers for Inès and Régis (having worked at Lenôtre, Dalloyau and Café Pouchkine).

A winning trio that offers every weekend (Saturday AND Sunday) a « home-made » brunch with a basket of cakes and brioches to be customized with sinful spreads, a signature coddled egg, vegetable pissaladière, a pasty, fresh juice and a warm drink (coffee, tea from Palais des thés, hot chocolate). And for bookworms, a great selection of novels and cookbooks, to be read there or to go. Think of reserving.

We also like: sneaking over there like a little mouse at lunch time or for a quick tea time snack.

The plus: pastry courses have just started.

Brunch at 11h30 am and 1:30pm Saturday and Sunday 25 €
