A souk of young designers

Un Souk De Jeunes Createurs

This fashion bazaar of up and coming designers will be taking over La REcyclerie on Saturday. Rendezvous at the former Gare Ornano train station recently transformed into an arty trendy space to pick out clothes, accessories and jewelry with an ethnic spirit… Yallah !

An afternoon entirely dedicated to the marvels of the Orient, punctuated with terrific animations and DIY workshops: henna tattoos, calligraphy, courses to learn how to make a real mint tea, organic cosmetics and even a photography show on the desert theme. In case of hunger pangs, you can count on their nibbles; and a great week-end brunch (tartines, viennoiseries, scrambled eggs, chocolate cake… 20 €).

We like: long shirt-front jewelry pieces and hand sewn pouches signed Clô, silver jewelry with super modern lines by Juliette Taktouk. And the avant-premiere presentation of the brand Sahara, launched that day. T-shirts, sweatshirts and very contemporary tote bags in organic cotton inspired by the Berber culture.

The must: take advantage of the last rays of sun, sitting on a terrace along the defunct Petite Ceinture railroad track to upkeep your caramel complexions…Launch of the Sahara Paris Project, Saturday 27 September 2014 from noon to midnight.
