As comfortable behind her ovens as she is on the sets of Master Chef, Amandine Chaignot has more than one trick in her chef hat.
The ex-chef of Hotel Raphaël has gone out on a big hunt before concocting the large number of ingredients that go into her super exclusive game dinners—as glam as they are bucolic.
Place of the feast? No need to drive out to the country, just make a beeline for the Marais and more precisely La Table Ronde. The famous restaurant designed like an ultra select concert hall is hosting the charming toque in residence from 13 to 22 November for its 100% game dinners available to the happy few game lovers.
On the menu ? Terrine of boar, rabbit, roasted partridge, in keeping with the booty and the harvesting (mushrooms, chestnuts…) with always her irresistible hare à la princesse (with foie gras), all in six services.
The hunting season is open, quickly book on the site of La Table Ronde !
Tip top: all those who miss the hunting season can always console themselves with recipes taken from her first book (Amandine Chaignot, Editions du Chêne, 288 pages, 35€).
Hunt & Gloss, Les dîners de chasse par Amandine Chaignot, from 13 to 22 November at Table Ronde. Closed on Monday. 80€ tasting menu without the wines and whisky pairings.
