The most intimate: Brunch By Inès

Going for brunch to a stranger’s house? The idea hits the bull’s eye when the hostess is a great cook and her home sweet home on rue de Charonne looks like an industrial loft.

Each Saturday and Sunday, Inès, the perky hostess, welcomes a handful of guests in her salon for a cool home-made brunch on the sly.

Totally confidential, the exact address remains secret until you have booked the reservation on her site.

For 30 €, she puts together a nifty seasonal menu inspired by her multi-cultural origins (an Italian/Russian father and a Franco-Arab mother) along with some travels. A quick peek? Eggs Benedict; pancakes with smoked salmon and banana; salads; green tea madeleines cakes; home made brioche; poppy lemon cake citron; crêpes; granola; warm drinks; fresh juice; lemonade…

The plus: she also sells a small selection of jewelry and decorating objects.

Previously a brand consultant and globe-trotter, Inès, began to organize meals in unusual places to gather her friends on weekends between two far-flung trips. These were so successful, she decided to extend the offer …fab!

Brunch every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6pm. By reservation only.
