Gustave, the new couture sandwiches

Chez Gustave

Since Caroline de Maigret, Karl Lagerfeld’s fetish model, awarded the prize of « best sandwiches in Paris » to Gustave through Instagram, this tiny take-away of SoPi benefits from coolitude.

At the origin of this hype hole-in-the-wall, Stephen, a former clockmaker reconverted in street food couture who is shaking up the snacking world. With the precision of a Swiss army knife, he garnishes ultra slim wheat pancakes with a serendipity of ingredients which he toasts before folding.

Amongst the recipes offered, special kudos for the marinated chicken, bacon, melted cheddar, glazed onions, Gala apples, cherry tomatoes, arugula (yes, yes, all that) and minced beef, blue Auvergne cheese, iceberg lettuce, coriander. To be noted they also have a veggie option with salad, mozzarella and tapenade olive spread.

The must: possibility of customizing your Clap’s with your fave ingredients.

And for the sweet note? Cheesecake, tiramisu or panna cotta.
