A new venue combining food and creative activities has just opened on Boulevard Beaumarchais. Forget the cramped coffee shop where you practically bump into your neighbor during a ceramic painting workshop: at Talk Arty, they’ve gone all out. With two spaces—one restaurant and the other designed as a coffee shop and artist’s studio—this trendy new spot welcomes you for lunch, a creative activity at the end of the day or even a birthday celebration. Alice, Julian and Germain have created an all-in-one, high-quality social space for meeting new people or getting together with friends.
Creativity and indulgence

The idea is simple: put creativity back at the heart of everyday life. With different options to choose from, Talk Arty aims to suit every schedule and every budget. Serving delicious lattes, the coffee shop offers generous spaces spread across two floors. Fully equipped, it gives you the chance to try your hand at sewing, painting, ceramics (hand-building and wheel throwing), watercolor, drawing, crochet and even knitting. There are three options: A Coffee, A Creation (€12), for drawing without overthinking it; Creative Kits, for regulars who know how to work independently (from €20); and Guided Workshops, where you can learn a technique alongside a teacher (€23 per class for the introductory offer, then €30 per session).
There’s no question of neglecting the restaurant in favor of the creative space. The food is seriously good! With a menu that changes every month, Talk Arty’s kitchen puts seasonality front and center. While the chefs are busy in the kitchen, you can stimulate your own creativity too: sheets of paper and pencils are available for you to let your imagination run wild. And then, voilà, the dishes arrive: the lunch menu—starter, main course and dessert (€29, Monday to Friday)—lets you kick things off with a delicious tuna crudo (€12), followed by a comforting parmigiana (€17), and finish on a sweet note with the cherry pavlova (€10). And because Talk Arty is truly an inspiring place, the restaurant regularly displays works by artists and craftspeople that are available to purchase. Part art gallery, part restaurant, creative workshop and coffee shop, our new favorite spot offers a different way to meet, create and spend time together in the heart of the capital.
