Versailles always enchants me. Especially at Spring time. It’s a superb place that shelters true marvels. When I was attending university, I did several years  of research on 18th century painting and literature. I think that era is an endless  source of inspiration for our contemporary lives, in the world of art as well as in fashion or design. Each Fall, the Château welcomes a contemporary artist, Koons, Bernard Venet or Lee Ufan, amongst many others. Indeed, what could be better than a shiny metal Lobster hanging from a marquetry ceiling in order to get a better comprehension and enjoy the history of art?

Itinerary? Visit the many less well-known rooms of the château not invaded by tourists, stroll in the shrubberies to play hide-and-go-seek with the sculptures of the park and end by sitting down for tea in the gardens of the Trianon Palace…
