It’s the most eagerly awaited exhibition of the season: starting September 30, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs celebrates 40 years since the creation of the Musée des Arts de la Mode with Look! 40 Years of Fashion at the Museum. Featuring 57 iconic silhouettes, sketches, embroideries, patterns, and fashion archives, the exhibit highlights clothing as a work of art—from initial concept to runway presentation. While Paris will see plenty of beautiful hotel openings this fall, the arrival of Hôtel des Peintres is already sparking our insatiable curiosity. In the deeply cultural Nouvelle Athènes neighborhood—home to legendary theaters and historic literary figures—this charming spot, designed like an authentic family townhouse, was the missing link. Inside: 17 richly decorated rooms, an enveloping atmosphere crafted by set designer Antoine Fontaine and architect Agathe Chabolle, an open-air 50 m² courtyard garden, and a cozy lounge to enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine. Just under a year after its opening, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain will inaugurate the new restaurant by Anne-Sophie Pic on September 18. Simply named Anne Sophie Pic Paris, the table of the world's most decorated female chef will welcome guests with brand-new culinary creations inspired by her signature Imprégnation philosophy. But that’s not all: a brand-new bar, Utopic, will also open on Rue de Marengo, extending her culinary creativity into high-end mixology. This double launch is set to become the hottest new destination of the Parisian fall season.

The flagship stage event of autumn 2026? Without a doubt, the return of the dramatic adventures of Jean Valjean and Cosette to the stage of the Théâtre du Châtelet. Based on the legendary novel by Victor Hugo, Les Misérables will be directed by Ladislas Chollat, while the poignant score by Claude-Michel Schönberg is elevated by lyricist Alain Boublil. On the costume design side, Jean-Daniel Vuillermoz will dress the opera singers alongside a cast of around forty actors! Safe to say, expectations are sky-high…

David Bowie, Joséphine Baker, Dalida, Jacques Brel, and Édith Piaf have all walked through the doors of this iconic Parisian nightlife staple: L'Alcazar is making its grand return on September 1st! Born in 1968 in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this music-hall temple has combined cabaret culture with Parisian art de vivre for nearly 60 years. Singers, dancers, and acrobats will command the stage and weave through tables, blurring the lines between dining, performance, and party in a space redesigned by Sophie Lacroix: red velvet, Art Deco accents, glass roof, mosaics, and gold touches. A glamorous venue celebrating joie de vivre over generous, refined, and convivial cuisine.

Olivier Rousteing, the prodigy designer who restored the house of Balmain to its full glory over 14 years, has just joined Rabanne as Creative Director. Succeeding the talented Julien Dossena—who spent 13 years at the creative helm—the favorite designer of A-list stars will bring his signature boldness to "write a new chapter together, true to its visionary spirit, forward-looking, and open to new possibilities," he shared. For its part, Rabanne promises "a new phase celebrating the House's unique and resolutely subversive heritage while expanding its vision for the future." We can’t wait to see the results of this natural match!

Taking office July 14, 2026; Olivier Rousteing's debut show for Rabanne is expected in March 2027.
