After a rainy week, Paris is finally showing its best side, inviting us to wander through a lineup of exciting events. From the Sicilian pop-up L’Alimentari celebrating the launch of SanPellegrino CIAO!, to an inclusive electro night at La Rotonde Stalingrad, a sensory journey at the Grand Palais, a gourmet charity tea room at the Palais de la Femme, a highly desirable floral pop-up in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and a must-try caviar bagel at Petrossian, the French capital once again delivers a five-star weekend agenda. Here are our top picks to make the most of it without wasting a minute.
Travel to Sicily with SanPellegrino

In Italy, good vibes can be summed up in a single word—a universal greeting that instantly transports you to the lively streets of Palermo: CIAO! To celebrate the launch of its new sparkling drink of the same name, SanPellegrino is bringing the very best of Sicily to Paris for one weekend only with its L’Alimentari SanPellegrino CIAO! pop-up, open to the public on June 13 and 14. And who better than the brilliant Studio Uchronia to create the setting? Designed as a vibrant Italian grocery store bursting with color, the space invites visitors to browse a carefully curated selection of authentic products, including Manon Laime’s premium olive oil, so beautiful it doubles as the perfect centerpiece for any summer table.
Meanwhile, Sicilian restaurateurs Les Amis de Messina will be serving up homemade arancini and focaccia, perfectly paired with the four refreshing flavors of SanPellegrino CIAO!: peach, lemon, blood orange and cherry. The festivities don’t stop there. Visitors can also enjoy an exceptional flower bar, a cooking masterclass hosted by influencer duo Toscane & Lucas from @thewaywewant on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., as well as a curated shopping selection featuring collector merchandise by Ines Saki and the charming ceramics of Justine Jupinet, aka @jorjadela (lemons and oranges from €20, bowls and cups from €12). The perfect opportunity to soak up a little Sicilian dolce vita before summer holidays officially begin.
L’Alimentari SanPellegrino CIAO!, 25 rue Sedaine, Paris 11th arrondissement. Open to the public on June 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (with a cooking masterclass on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.).
Bite Into a Caviar Bagel

This is the news already making waves among caviar lovers and foodie event enthusiasts. From June 11 to 13, an exclusive pop-up takes over the private lounges of Petrossian to unveil a brand-new collaboration with Sisi Bagels, arguably Paris’ finest bagel specialists. Think of it as the ultimate meeting between street food and luxury indulgence, available in a very limited edition.
For the occasion, three recipes share the spotlight. Purists will gravitate toward the iconic Egg’N’Cheese (€10), a New York breakfast classic, while traditionalists can opt for the Petrossian Lox, topped with whipped cream cheese, red onions and caper leaves (€18). But the undeniable star of the weekend is the Caviar Club (€22): a decadent creation featuring cream cheese, fresh chives, crumbled egg yolk, crushed hazelnuts and, most importantly, a generous serving of Royal Ossetra caviar (#absolutegamechanger).
The bonus? A selection of sweet treats rounds off the experience perfectly, including madeleines (€4 for three), fruit cake slices (€7) and delicious brownies (€6).
Pop-up Caviar SISI Club, June 10–13, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the private lounges of Petrossian, 144 rue de l’Université, Paris 7th arrondissement.

Explore the World of Quantum Physics

Looking for a cultural experience in Paris? Head to the Grand Palais to discover the must-see exhibition of the season: Nous, frissons d’étoiles by Laure Prouvost.
After two years of research into quantum physics, the French artist describes her goal simply: “To keep imagination as a place of resistance.” With Nous, frissons d’étoiles, she invites visitors not to understand, but to feel. Rather than searching for meaning, audiences are encouraged to immerse themselves in sensations, sounds, scents and light.
The journey begins through a tunnel, one of the artist’s signature motifs. This initiatory passage transports visitors from night to day, from rational thinking to sensory perception. At the center of the gallery stands The Beginning, a monumental kinetic installation featuring six floating limbs that are equally fascinating and unsettling.
Every sense is engaged. Delicate filaments brush against the skin, voices emerge from scented headsets known as Cute Bits, mineral fragrances fill the air, and visitors are even offered raspberries. Reclining on a cocoon-like cushion, guests can watch We Felt A Star Dying, a hypnotic film connecting us to all matter, from the microscopic to the cosmic, from living organisms to machines. As Prouvost explains, “The idea of quantum physics is not something to understand, but something to feel.” Mission accomplished.
Nous, frissons d’étoiles by Laure Prouvost, until July 26 at the Grand Palais, 5 avenue Winston Churchill, Paris 8th arrondissement. Open daily except Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and until 10:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Create Your Own Artsy Rug

For 2025, minimalism stays in the closet! Let’s jazz up our interiors with designs as quirky as they are chic, mixing vintage finds with handcrafted pieces. What could be better than a 100% personalized rug to bring life and stories into your space?
Head to the 5th arrondissement of Paris to try tufting—a trendy craft that lets you create a rug using a yarn gun. Start by choosing your design, colors, and yarns. Guided by Siyi, you’ll craft your rug by first tracing your design on the canvas, then unleashing your inner artist. Add the finishing touches: cutting, gluing the backing, shaving, and voilà! Your dream rug is ready.
Bonus: For an additional fee, you can also create tufted cushions, mirrors, or bags.
Succumb to a stylish new coffee shop

Anyone who has ever snubbed the 17th arrondissement, swearing it’s "too far" and nothing ever happens there, will need to reconsider. Great spots keep blooming, and BAKERS is the most delicious proof. Halfway between a sleek coffee shop and an auteur pastry shop, this new spot channels a true New York design aesthetic: dark wood, vinyl records, soft music, and steel accents create a modern backdrop. Behind the counter, Tsivia and Eytan—two pastry chefs who trained at Le Meurice—craft reworked classics that are both high-fashion and deeply comforting.
The matcha lattes are almost too beautiful not to order, especially the raspberry or mango versions (€7.50). The cappuccino (€5.50) is a safe bet—well-made and fuss-free—while the chai latte (€6) brings a well-deserved sweetness. On sunny days, the iced peach tea (€5) and lemonade (€5.50) make you want to linger. For something savory, go for the Tuna sandwich on brioche bread with homemade tuna mayo, red onions, and pickled cabbage (€11.50), or the salmon bagel (€13.50), a perfectly mastered classic. And for dessert: vanilla-praline chouquettes (€6.50), a honey-vanilla madeleine (€2.50), or more elaborate pastries like fruit tarts and entremets, to enjoy individually or order up to 10 portions to extend the BAKERS experience at home.
Bakers, 87 avenue Niel, Paris 17th. Open Tuesday, Thursday, and Monday from 9 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 6:30 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 8 PM.
Escape Paris without leaving Paris

How about recharging your batteries… on an 18th-arrondissement rooftop? Perched above the train tracks, Plantation Paris is the kind of place you don't expect to find in our beloved capital: 7,000 m² of open-air crops, a greenhouse like you rarely see, rows of vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, and microgreens growing quietly between concrete and the Parisian sky. No organic label here—impossible when growing soilless—but zero fertilizer, thanks to the work of a dedicated market gardener whose harvests are so flawless they end up directly in the kitchens of Michelin-starred chefs. After a successful first season, Plantation reopens its doors with a program including DJ sets, concerts, Fête de la Musique, and other open-air events that turn the place into a real party hub. And if there’s one spot to admire a sunset facing the Sacré-Cœur, it’s from this terrace.
On the menu, the vegetarian selection evolves with the seasons—and here, eating well starts with respecting seasonality. In the kitchen, Jimmy Street Food plays with unpretentious indulgence: zaatar hummus with braised carrots and greenhouse microgreens (€7), zucchini guacamole nachos topped with fresh almond cheese and lime (€10), a miso-roasted eggplant gua bao with carrot pickles and crispy onions (€12) that is a clear crowd-pleaser, or a lupin cheese and smoked eggplant grilled cheese (€12), of which we won’t leave a crumb. Edible flowers add color and seasoning to the plates, and for a sweet finish, opt for the lemon-poppyseed cake (€5). Simple dishes, but well-thought-out enough to make us want to come back.
Plantation Paris, 37 rue des Cheminots, Paris 18th. Open Friday 6 PM to 1:30 AM, Saturday 12 PM to 1:30 AM, and Sunday 12 PM to 10 PM. Reservations for all events online.
Discover the art of gardening at the Palace of Versailles

It was in 1730s England that the pleasure garden trend was born—a new way of thinking about gardens, combining winding paths, exotic decors, and cleverly orchestrated secret caves. A refined and theatrical lifestyle that soon seduced all of Europe, including Marie-Antoinette, who was fascinated by these idealized landscapes where nature becomes a setting for dreams and freedom. A unique immersion into the emergence of the 18th-century landscape garden, the Palace of Versailles unveils its new exhibition at the Grand Trianon: Jardins des Lumières, 1750-1800.
Nearly 160 works—paintings by Hubert Robert, Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun, and George Romney, drawings, furniture, architectural projects, and costumes—make up a spectacular tour where a new vision of nature is invented. Here, the garden leaves behind "French-style" rigor to make way for irregularity, fantasy, and a philosophical poetry of the landscape that echoes the philosophy of the era. The exhibition ends beautifully, inviting visitors to extend the experience by wandering through the splendid Trianon gardens. A sensual invitation to see nature differently: free, alive, and designed as a total work of art.
Jardin des Lumières, 1750-1800, from May 5 to September 27 at the Château de Versailles, Place d'Armes, Versailles 78000. The Château and the Trianon estate are open daily except Mondays until 6:30 PM. The Palace opens at 9 AM and the domaine de Trianon opens at 12 PM. Tickets from €15.
Treat yourself to cocktails at the new "it" bar

In the mood for a refreshing cocktail? Head to rue de Mondovi to discover the brand-new 7 Cocktail Bar, nestled in the heart of the Mondovi Luxury Suites hotel. A stone's throw from Place de la Concorde, this secret gem reinvents the art of the cocktail in a cozy and resolutely elegant atmosphere. Dim lights, noble materials, the clinking of glasses: it’s THE ideal place to enjoy sophisticated drinks. The menu features 7 cocktails (€18) created by Colin Field, the former Ritz bartender voted best bartender in the world (no less!). Fruity and refreshing, our favorite is the Colin’s Limoncello Spritz (limoncello, Prosecco, and lemon), while the Kashenka is decidedly indulgent, made with strawberry vodka, cane syrup, and crushed strawberries. We also love the classics: The Real Negroni (Field style) and The Clean Dirty Martini, powerful and herbaceous. Word on the street is that a tapas menu will soon be added to the list—everything you need for a perfect evening!
Take the opportunity to savor the confidential atmosphere and the beauty of the Hôtel Mondovi, an exceptional residence hidden on a quiet street in the 1st arrondissement, with 100% Parisian charm. Perfect for surprising your better half for a romantic date…
The 7 Cocktail Bar, 7 rue de Mondovi, Paris 1st. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 4 PM to midnight.
Treating yourself to a scented tea time

On Place de la Concorde, the tea time at Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel takes on a whole new dimension. Pastry chef Matthieu Carlin, Maison Godet—which created the Crillon’s new olfactory identity—and Palais des Thés have come together to imagine an unprecedented interlude inspired by the fragrance Une Journée à Paris. The idea? To translate into taste the top, heart, and base notes of this signature fragrance created by Maison Godet in collaboration with the palace hotel, like moments punctuating a day. Between haute parfumerie, characterful pastries, and the art of tea, the experience transforms snack time into a sensory stroll. At tea time, the dance begins with savory—and what an opening! A lobster roll with lemon and pomegranate makes you close your eyes from the very first bite, followed by a crispy gravlax salmon tartlet, then a summer vegetable focaccia that truly surprises.
But the most original moment comes next: three scented blotters are placed on the table, to smell before discovering the pastry that echoes each one. Linden blossom, first, as the top note, inspires a fresh lemon-linden dessert with diamond sablé, light mousse, and tangy center. Orange blossom, the heart note, reveals itself in a more enveloping creation blending raspberry, almond biscuit, and smooth cream. Then comes tonka bean, the base note, rounder and deeper, interpreted in a milk chocolate dessert, between soft cocoa cake and comforting creaminess. To extend the pleasure: a green cardamom palmier, a polenta-basil madeleine, a signature laminated brioche from the house this time with apricot-jasmine compote, and a scone to enjoy with the palace’s delicious jams. All accompanied by four different teas by Palais des Thés. Our favorite? À Cœur Joie, a caffeine-free infusion with notes of orange, lemon, and orange blossom. A tea time unlike many others, surprising, and thoughtfully designed enough to take us elsewhere for an afternoon.
Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, 10 place de la Concorde, Paris 8th. Tea time served from Thursday to Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., from May 8 to August 30. €88 per person including a hot drink and €108 per person including a glass of Philipponnat “réserve perpétuelle” Brut.
Grab a table at Hanaa

To satisfy our sudden (and frequent, we admit) cravings for couscous and kemias, this brand-new address in the 11e arrondissement has won our hearts. Head to Hanaa, where chef Mahdi Abid strives to “tell the story of Algeria differently, with elegance and accuracy.” From the street, the restaurant catches the eye with its oriental facade and light arches, while the interior is adorned with warm hues and golden light, accompanied by a matching playlist to set the mood instantly.
At the table, no fuss: start with the crispy beef boureks (€8) to dip with your fingers into a fresh lemon-mint cream, alongside delicious grilled eggplants with oriental spices and roasted tomatoes with cinnamon and parmesan. Follow up with the unbeatable beef, farmhouse chicken, or lamb couscous (between €20 and €24), served with its pitcher of flavorful sauce (yes, a pitcher). Second option: the jwaz, a melt-in-your-mouth beef chuck that is to die for, accompanied by all sorts of small vegetables (€25). If you still have room for a sweet note, we recommend the Constantinois mehalbi (€9), a creamy pudding flavored with orange blossom, served with a drizzle of honey under a crunch of crushed pistachios… Mic drop.
The little extra? Hanaa also offers a delicatessen, featuring refined local products… and on certain evenings, the restaurant comes alive to the rhythm of Algerian music “in the spirit of large Algerian tables where hospitality is a given.”
Hanaa, 123 rue du Chemin Vert, Paris 11e. Open Monday to Saturday from 11:30 am to 3 pm and 7 pm to 11 pm, then Sunday from 12 pm to 3 pm and 7 pm to 10 pm.

Discover a new exhibition

Did you love XVIIIth Century Fashion? You will adore Révéler le féminin, mode et apparences au XVIIIe siècle. Head to the Musée Cognacq-Jay in the Marais to discover the new exhibition in collaboration with the Palais Galliera. In the heart of this majestic former private mansion, you navigate between luminous paintings, period costumes, and floral tapestries, through a journey where the French style of the Age of Enlightenment flirts with the contemporary audacity of today’s great designers.
In this confidential setting, the path propels us into a “social theatricality” where every room is an invitation to coquetry. Imagine the clash of eras: a robe à la française of timeless nobility dialogues with a sculptural, shimmering bustier dress by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. Here, the ethereal oil paintings by Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun or Nattier aren't just beautiful; delicate portraits face iconic shots by Steven Meisel and Cindy Sherman. Between fabrics, lace, and the fêtes galantes of Watteau, you’ll discover an exhibition that reveals the secrets of the art of appearance and its codes, constantly evolving for three centuries now.
Révéler le féminin at Musée Cognacq-Jay, 8 rue Elzévir, Paris 3e. From March 25 to September 20. €11.
Learn the Art of Felted Figurines

If you hate seeing your little ones glued to their tablets, whisk them away to Yu-Ching’s workshop. On the menu: discovering the art of felted wool. You’ll be able to create your own adorable figurine with just the strength and dexterity of your hands!
Upon arrival, the artist presents her workshop and tools, then introduces the themes for the little creations: forest animals, dinosaurs, culinary temptations... You’ll learn the basics of needle felting (don’t worry, the needle doesn’t hurt—it’s used to shape the wool!) to craft your personalized figurine. Have fun mixing colors to make a funky bird, muffin, or dino. The best part? You’ll take your creation home, along with the know-how. It’s the perfect plan to occupy those rainy afternoons and build your army of felted wool figurines!
The extra touch : if your artistic endeavors leave you hungry, we’ve got the perfect snack! Head over to Sürpriz to bite into a mouth-watering kebab packed with meat from Mehmet, the best butcher in Berlin, whose meat is coveted by all kebab vendors.
Step into the menagerie of Annette Messager

After the MoMa, the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, or the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Annette Messager takes up residence at the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature to let us discover her latest exhibition: Une hirondelle ne fait pas le printemps. While the bestiary has been one of the common threads of the artist's work since her beginnings, here it takes the lead role. This time, Annette Messager presents our animal friends as the “mirror of human passions and impulses,” through more than 80 hybrid works that subvert the codes of the trophy and transform the visitor from predator to prey.
Here, everything plays on contrasts. We move stealthily between the tiny and the monumental, the nostalgia of childhood stuffed animals, and the strangeness of taxidermy. Drawing from her own collections and those of the museum, Annette Messager composes a fascinating bestiary, a true contemporary cabinet of curiosities that questions our human condition. In short, she blurs the line between man and beast, until the roles are reversed: the animal mimics us, caricatures us, and observes us. An exhibition that doesn’t lack bite…
Note starting April 21: the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature offers programming dedicated to children with artistic workshops to create animal silhouettes and storytelling tours of the exhibition.
Une hirondelle ne fait pas le printemps at the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, 62 rue des Archives, Paris 3e. From April 14 to September 20, open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm and late night Wednesday until 9:30 pm. €13.
Play the best web concepts IRL

A leisure bar right in Paris where you dive into the craziest Internet and TV show concepts? That’s the idea behind Merci Internet, a new place for socializing and uncontrollable laughter, nestled in the 9th arrondissement. We’ve all boasted at least once in front of a YouTube video concept or a TV game show, thinking we’d do better than the contestants. Guess what? Now’s the time to test yourself — and your BFFs.
Meet at this new feel-good address, where private rooms are waiting just for you to go wild with the most popular concepts from YouTube or streaming sites. Our recommendation: the brilliant "Who has the best alibi?", inspired by the best duo escaping prison concept, aka the hit videos from king Squeezie. You put on the hat of a police inspector or a suspect, and get ready for the best interrogations or the worst lies to win. Also to discover: a boozy cooking class (hi Les Recettes Pompettes), or a mini "Qui rit sort". After the fun part, settle into the bar area to sip cocktails inspired by Internet culture, and wait to receive your video of the best moments of the game. A new playful spot in an aesthetic setting signed Uchronia (who also designed the wild addresses of Café Nuances) to create memories… and content. Ready, set, play!
Merci Internet, 6 rue Marguerite de Rochechouart, Paris 9e. Open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Fridays from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. From €30 per player.
Indulge in a burek feast

Unless you grew up in the Balkans or have been on a series of trips to Croatia or Serbia, it is unlikely that you have already tasted bureks. The reputation of this long snack (42 cm all the same), born in the kitchens of grandmas then industrialized, has been rehabilitated by a Croatian restaurateur and hotelier. After traveling through all the countries in the sector in search of the “real” recipe – a filo pastry stretched until it becomes almost transparent, then worked by hand and filled with good products – Sedi opened his first Holy Burek in Dubrovnik. A total hit: openings followed in Dubai, Miami, and now… Paris, near Cadet.
Single-product focus requires that you will find in this pocket canteen, all dressed in yellow, only a few recipes, each as diabolical as the next: the very melting classic with potato and onions, seasoned with black pepper (€4.50), the cheese version, whose elastic texture of the ricotta takes on the appearance of halloumi (€6), the spinach and cheese option, our little favorite (€6.50), or even chicken-onion (€8) and veal-onion (€9). We accompany it all with a café latte (€5.50) or a matcha (€5.80), just to stay hydrated because watch out: the burek is closer to foodporn than a small healthy break! You only live once, right?
Holy Burek Paris, 66 rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, Paris 10e. Open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Test the trendiest Food Market in the Marais

You know that at Do It, we think about nothing but eating all day long. So when Le Marché Branché reopens in the Marais after a first edition that was a smash hit, and especially for three months this time, naturally, we linger there! Inside, all those hyper-trendy food brands that we see scrolling through social networks, often difficult to obtain. Here, we can finally grab all those little treasures, arranged like in an ultra-colorful supermarket, with a majority of French brands and a single motto: eat better without sacrificing pleasure! Careful though: you risk filling your basket very quickly.
Our recommendations? A crush on Flocon Rebel and its healthy but gourmet overnight oats (special mention for the blueberry, the 4 flavors for €21.99), while Pink Sun Brewing Co. reconciles us with non-alcoholic beer thanks to a tart raspberry version (€3.50). For tennis fans, HVNR Health honey-based food supplements boost immune defenses (€55): the brand was developed with the player Holger Rune, who will be present in the shop on Saturday, April 18 at 1 pm for a signing session. Our ultimate favorite? Crazy Bastard Sauce sauces (€18.90 the pack), perfect for pimping any dish or starting a little homemade Hot Ones, without forgetting the protein bars from Pulse (yummm, the coconut one, €2.99). Clearly, with more than 20 brands gathered in one spot, it's impossible to leave empty-handed…
Le Marché Branché, 12 rue Commines, Paris 3e. Open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11 am to 8 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm, Sunday from 12 pm to 7 pm, and Monday and Tuesday from 12 pm to 8 pm. Until June 20.
Play Michel-angelo with ceramics

Feeling crafty and inspired? Dive into making air-dry ceramic objects you can paint however you like! Whether it’s tiny pots, decorations, trinket dishes, or candleholders—anything is possible at Noura’s workshop in the 17th arrondissement.
The plan: Learn ceramic modeling techniques and basics, let your creativity flow under expert guidance, and leave with your beautifully decorated creations (no oven needed!). Bonus: your works can even make for awesome homemade gifts.
The extra touch: The Art & Bulle workshop by Noura can be privatized for up to 24 people, perfect for family fun or birthday parties.
Sitting down at La Petite République

On Rue de Bellechasse, the restaurant La Petite République is always full, attracting a particularly fashion-forward and creative clientele in Paris. Beyond its ideal location just steps from the Saint Laurent headquarters, it’s also the network of Laurent Delahousse, co-owner, that enjoys being seen there. Marble, warm lighting, cozy banquettes, counter: the eye is drawn everywhere, down to the photos, words slipped in like clues, and that quote by Alain Bashung as a mantra, “que ne durent que les moments doux”. A trendy Paris restaurant you can book both for a date and a night out with friends, and where you linger without ever seeing time pass.
Here, in the spirit of a tapas bar, everything is meant to be shared. The menu features comforting dishes, designed to be enjoyed endlessly. Burrata with herb pesto, grilled hazelnuts and pear pickles (€10), crispy fries with fresh mint yogurt sauce (€8), fried artichokes with aioli and bay leaf (€18): well-executed classics. The Serrano Gran Reserva ham (€9), sliced in front of you at the counter, instantly whets the appetite. The mini pulled beef burgers with pickles and cheese (€16) are crowd favorites, just like the marinated steak with fresh herbs and fried onions (€18). And to finish on a sweet note, the profiterole choux (€10) and baked apple (€8) bring a deliciously nostalgic touch to end the moment beautifully.
La Petite République, 62 rue de Bellechasse, Paris 7th. Open Monday to Friday from 12pm to 2pm and from 7:30pm to 10pm and Saturday from 7:30pm to 10pm.

Guided by Iveta and Quentin, you’ll first learn the basics of human figure drawing (keeping proportions in check), before moving on to stylized silhouettes, just like couture sketches. Books featuring fashion collections will be available for inspiration, but nothing beats gazing at the Seine and soaking up Paris as your muse. Each participant leaves with their own creations—maybe you’ll be the next great couturier?
CREATE YOUR OWN CERAMIC HOME DECOR

What if we reconnected with our inner artist for the new year ? Head to Atelier Grand Soleil by Gaëlle & Arnold, in the heart of Paris’s 11th arrondissement, for a hands-on creative session. Over three hours, you’ll explore the world of ceramic modeling by creating a unique piece from start to finish.
From shaping a bowl, dish, or decorative object to adding patterns and paint, let your imagination run free under the glass roof in a calm, inspiring atmosphere. A few weeks later, you’ll return to collect your finished piece – after drying, firing, and glazing by Gaëlle – ready to enhance your home or become a thoughtful gift for someone special.
Treat Yourself to Cedric Grolet’s Couture Tea Time at Le Meurice

Calling all food lovers who never miss a chance to indulge : Cedric Grolet has unveiled his new gourmet rendezvous at Le Meurice, and it’s already stealing hearts. Set in the spectacular décor of restaurant Le Dalí, designed by Philippe Starck, this sweet-and-savory experience reinvents classic English tea time with bold Parisian elegance. The experience begins with a refined savory selection revisiting traditional finger sandwiches : an ultra-Parisian jambon-beurre elevated with fresh truffle, an indulgent lobster roll nestled in buttery brioche, and a chic salmon casse-croûte topped with crisp sucrine lettuce and a generous spoonful of caviar. Then comes the highlight : the sweet show. The pastry chef’s iconic sculpted fruits appear in delicate mini versions, displayed on a silver tree worthy of Alice in Wonderland. And because no proper tea time would be complete without its classics, warm madeleines, soft cakes, sugar brioches and scones are served unlimited throughout the experience. Champagne, exceptional teas, hot and cold beverages — the palace team ensures the perfect pairing to elevate this suspended gourmet moment.
Le Tea Time de Cedric Grolet au Meurice, 228 rue de Rivoli, Paris 1er. €95 with hot beverage (champagne optional). Monday to Saturday from 12:30pm to 5:30pm and Sunday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Reservations at 01 44 58 10 44 or online.

Learn to shape ravioli

Saturday, it’s ravioli! There are still spots left for a 2.5-hour cooking workshop all’italiana with Claudio, a transalpine chef passionate about the cuisine of Puglia and Sardinia who masters the art of ravioli like no one else. We bring along our guy / our BFF / our chef buddy (cross out the unnecessary) for a really fun class in the 11th, around Voltaire. But first, we start by getting to know each other and learning the basics over a glass of Prosecco – or a sparkling drink for the soberistas – to go with some cheeses from the Boot.
Let’s go for the making of fresh pasta, learning the real gestures and tips whispered in mamma’s kitchen. Then we work on the sauce and filling, before it's tasting time! P.S.: don’t forget to bring a tup’ to take home the leftover pasta.
Tastinkg Brittany in the heart of the Marais

2nd round for the sibling duo Albane and Baptiste Lamotte, who already brought us Galette Café in the 7th! Their new baby Ty Coz, both a crêperie and oyster bar, is establishing itself as the new 100% Breton spot in the Marais. To enjoy some sweet treats and briny products that could transport any Parisian to the pretty corsair city of Saint-Malo, head over near Parc Royal!
Ty Coz, "family home" in Breton, turns out to be the perfect name for this new place that smells like holidays in Finistère. After the success of Galette Café, the family is growing with, this time, a more polished décor for which architect Sylvie Zerat has designed every detail like a living space where you feel at home. Special mention for the terrace overlooking Parc Royal! Start by ordering oysters, especially the plump Étoile Kys n°3 (€20 for 6), then melt for the galette with Andouille de Guémené, delightfully indulgent, served with its onion compote and creamy cider sauce, unless you go for the version with smoked salmon, potatoes with vinaigrette, and seared red onions (€16.90). Stretch the pleasure with a crêpe filled with salted butter caramel and vanilla ice cream (€9.50), or a Suzette flambéed with Grand Marnier (€11)… Yum! The must: Ty Coz offers a take-away version of their galettes but also of their ice cream sundaes (€9.50): perfect for sunny days.
Ty Coz, 4 rue du Parc Royal, Paris 3rd. Open Tuesday from 12pm to 4pm, Wednesday to Saturday from 12pm to 11pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.
