September is just around the corner, and to switch things up from the traditional back-to-school shopping routine, we’ve rounded up three original experiences to get your creative juices flowing before getting back to business: make your own leather notebook, spark your inspiration over a literary brunch, and create your very own colourful prints with risograph printing!
The most useful

We’ve all seen those Louise Carmen notebooks popping up everywhere, those little leather notebooks that stationery lovers can’t get enough of. But we’ve found something even better: making your own notebook from A to Z. Alongside Zoé, you’ll spend an hour and a half discovering the art of leathercraft and completely personalising your notebook, from choosing the leather to cutting and riveting it, as well as selecting the accessories, charms and notebook format.
The most inspiring

What if, one Sunday, you put your creative skills to the test over a literary brunch? Following a series of writing prompts, each participant writes a piece and then reads it aloud, all guided by Karine Tercier, an editor and author who has been running these workshops for the past 15 years. On the menu: unlimited coffee and tea, pastries, bread with butter and jam, plus savoury treats including ham and cheese!
The most colourful

We all know screen printing, but have you heard of risograph printing? Join Francesca and dive into this Japanese cold-printing technique, which uses a duplicator and vegetable-based inks made from rice or soybean oil. As for what you’ll create, you can choose between A5 cards or A3 posters, which you’ll get to take home! A colourful, hands-on experience that’s perfect for discovering a whole new way of printing.
