Jaiio, the New Must-Know Consignment Shop

The Jaiio Consignment shop in paris

Thrifting is fun when you have time to rummage for hidden treasures. But our preferred option for finding vintage bargains undoubtedly lies in meticulously curated consignment shops, where you can also bring in your own pieces, nurturing a virtuous cycle. The latest addition in Paris, the online vintage marketplace Jaiio, has boldly opened a brick-and-mortar store just steps away from Les Halles, housing hundreds of treasures bearing labels like Dior, Louis Vuitton, or Hermès... as well as Sandro, Ganni, or Zadig & Voltaire, basically everything we love! Let's take a tour.

A New Hub for Slow Fashion

When BFFs Aurélie and Joy launched Jaiio four years ago, their 100% digital resale system, ultra-smart (with a home courier service!), immediately took off. After a corner at the vintage space (RE)Store in Galeries Lafayette, their first standalone boutique has now opened on Rue du Jour, where customers can drop off and/or purchase branded or designer clothing and accessories. The deal? Jaiio takes care of the ENTIRE sales process, for a commission of 50% that decreases according to the item's value. A simple way to give these pieces, which have been languishing in the back of closets for far too long, their due value.

Here, fast fashion is banned. Similar to their online vintage marketplace (from which pieces are, of course, sourced for the boutique), brands are meticulously chosen, and items are offered in very good condition. Cleverly organized by size, the racks prevent any false hopes! Here you can snag a Coach leather jacket (€375), Levi's 501 jeans (€60), a monogrammed Dior skirt (€350), a Ganni leopard print jacket (€180), a gorgeous Maje dress with a bucolic print (€70), an Isabel Marant Étoile check blazer (€180), as well as a selection of items for men. Surprise: in a fridge, you'll even find Chanel, Dior, Guerlain, or Givenchy beauty products still in their packaging, offered at unbeatable prices usually brought in by influencers who received them as gifts. Win-win.

Heaven for Accessory Enthusiasts

Look up: you'll spot stunning bags, including a hyper-rock silver leather clutch by Alexander McQueen (€1,400), a Chanel patent leather bag (€2,550), or another square-shaped khaki one with great seduction potential (€1,900), and even a saffron-colored Hermès Kelly (€7,750) to match your silk scarf (€150).

Don't miss the shoe section downstairs, which would make Carrie Bradshaw green with envy (her portrait even graces the wall among the shoes, #queen), featuring python Prada heels (€120), JW Anderson's iconic mules (€200), adorable Manolo Blahnik pumps (€140), and the coveted studded Chloé boots (€400) that the world is clamoring for. Needless to say, temptation is inevitable...

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm.
