On the menu: A high-quality program curated by Chef Serge Jouanin. Juniper vegetable broth, Savoie IGP raw milk raclette (can be swapped for goat cheese), artisanal charcuterie, homemade pickles, smoked broth-cooked ratte potatoes, salads, a shared blueberry tart, all accompanied by mountain wines. Why you'll love it: Among beautifully decorated Christmas trees, a fireplace, and cozy blankets on sofas, Chiquette, the restaurant of the chic Le Cinq Codet hotel near Les Invalides, dresses up for the year-end festivities, creating a cocooning atmosphere worthy of a mountain chalet.

On the menu: An XXL raclette (€55 per person) served at the table with a choice of classic, smoked, and wild garlic cheeses (our favorite). For charcuterie, a very generous plate of amazing coppa, mortadella, and white ham accompanied by a selection of fingerling potatoes, seasonal vegetable pickles, and a green salad to freshen up the palate. Did we mention it's all-you-can-eat?

Plaza Athénée

Why you'll love it: Wildly exotic and magical, the chalet at Plaza Athénée, set in the heart of the sublime Cour Jardin, faces an ice rink where skiing enthusiasts can attempt a few tricks before dinner. Inside the chalet, a cozy-chic ambiance around a large communal table for up to 24 people. Special mention for the tableware signed by the French excellence manufacturer Mauviel 1830.

On the menu: A Savoyard dinner crafted by Chef Jean Imbert (starting from €200 per person) begins with an aperitif, a glass of champagne, and three shared starters (gratinated scallops à la Granny, root vegetable broth, crunchy endive salad, blue Auvergne cheese, and walnuts). Following this, a choice of several fondue recipes: traditional, with porcini mushrooms, black truffle, and champagne (our favorite), accompanied by a selection of charcuteries. To finish on a sweet note, a reinterpretation of the iconic Mont Blanc by the hotel's pastry chefs arrives in a cauldron filled with chestnut cream topped with a thin layer of crunchy meringue and instantly topped with blackcurrant jam: irresistible, even after fondue!

Why you'll love it: For the cool and laid-back atmosphere. Set in the courtyard of the Grand Quartier hotel in the 11th arrondissement, four wooden chalets with kitschy/vintage decor, red checkered tablecloths, blankets, and vintage items each host a beautiful dining table for 6 to 8 guests.

On the menu: A trio of Swiss fondues concocted by the chef Théophile Eymard (formerly at Gare au Gorille), also in charge of the gourmet menu at Babines restaurant. Prepared in the traditional way, combining Gruyère and Fribourg Vacherin AOP cheeses, the super creamy fondues come in natural version (€25/person), with morels (€30/person), and with truffle (€38/person). To start, opt for the curly endive salad, bacon, croutons, and garlic vinaigrette (€7). As accompaniments, three options: charcuterie plate (€15), roasted potatoes (€10), or sautéed mushrooms (€14). And be sure to save some room for the amazing mandarin crème brûlée to share (€16).

On the menu: Two hassle-free kits where you just tick the number of guests. A raclette kit (€8 per person) with three cow's milk cheeses (natural, smoked, and Morbier), or the raclette & charcuterie kit (€15 per person) with farm ham, smoked ham, and rosette. On the menu: Be warned, here, you come for a real feast. This means a genuine raclette with its share of charcuterie and potatoes, or you can opt for the three-cheese Savoyard fondue (Beaufort, Abondance, and Savoie wheel) with its little green salad to give us good conscience (menu € 29,50).
