Royal Mansour Marrakech: The Ultimate Princess Experience

Just a few hours from Paris, Marrakech continues to captivate travelers from around the world. Sun-drenched energy, lush gardens, opulent palaces… the Red City nurtures a unique fantasy, balancing vibrant buzz with serene charm. Among the many addresses attracting aesthetes in search of beauty, one stands above the rest: the Royal Mansour Marrakech. More than a palace hotel, this sumptuous resort offers a suspended escape, immersing guests in the very best Morocco has to offer.

A princely experience

The Royal Mansour is more than a destination—it’s a philosophy of living, a manifesto of well-being and refinement, where everything is designed to reconnect body and mind. A rare place where ancestral heritage meets perfectly mastered modernity, bringing the Moroccan dream to life.

Gardens dotted with roses, orange trees, and centuries-old olive trees create an almost surreal setting. A spectacular pool lies hidden at the heart of an oasis. And everywhere, that signature invisible yet ever-present service. Sunrise yoga classes, art workshops, tailor-made experiences… here, your stay feels like an enchanted interlude where time stands still, as if stepping into a tale from One Thousand and One Nights.

Living in a palace

Extraordinary and beyond categorization, the Royal Mansour spans six hectares and features 53 private riads, each spread over three levels with a patio, terrace, and rooftop plunge pool adorned with zellige tiles. The palace redefines luxury codes: no rooms or long corridors, but instead a confidential medina set in the heart of the city, just steps from Jemaa el-Fna square.

Ranging from 140 to 850 sqm—and up to 1,800 sqm for the Grand Riad—each residence impresses with its scale and sophistication. Moroccan craftsmanship shines with remarkable precision (carved wood, tadelakt, ironwork, marquetry), celebrating rare savoir-faire that are both preserved and elevated.

Behind this decorative richness lies discreet modernity, with fully customizable comfort and integrated technology, while more than 250 contemporary artworks bring a unique energy to the space. A subtle balance between absolute privacy and total immersion.

Four outstanding restaurants

The Royal Mansour is also a true gastronomic destination, led by renowned chefs such as Hélène Darroze and Massimiliano Alajmo.

At La Grande Table Marocaine, the French chef elevates Moroccan classics (tagines, pastilla, couscous), reinterpreting them with finesse. Highlights include roasted Beni Mellal lamb rack with tandoori spices (750 MAD), served with citrus carrot mousseline, and spider crab seasoned with lime and Lampong pepper (500 MAD)—each dish delivered with instinctive elegance.

At La Grande Brasserie, the vibe is unmistakably Parisian, with traditional service, tableside carving, generous plates, and near-perfect pairings. Standout dishes include the exquisite butternut squash raviolo with wild Tan-Tan prawns and ginger bisque emulsion (460 MAD), and the airy Madagascar vanilla millefeuille (200 MAD).

Then head to Sesamo, where Massimiliano Alajmo presents a creative and refined Italian menu in a Venetian-inspired setting. Memorable dishes include smoked butter potato gnocchi with beluga caviar and the “Dawa Berbère” dessert with saffron ice cream and Atlas nuts—one of the best desserts we’ve ever tasted.

Finally, Le Jardin (our favorite) offers a secluded, intimate atmosphere with a menu blending Asian and Mediterranean influences. Charcoal-grilled eggplant with mild harissa, herbs, and toasted seeds (240 MAD), sweet-and-sour prawn wok with orange and Ceylon cinnamon (590 MAD), Doukkala beef fillet with black pepper berry sauce (590 MAD), and a wide variety of sushi rolls (220–850 MAD) can all be enjoyed under the shade of palm trees. A perfectly balanced boho-chic ambiance before heading back to sunbathe by the pool.

A lace-like sanctuary for relaxation

Awarded multiple times, the Royal Mansour spa spans 2,500 sqm entirely dedicated to well-being. Here, guests experience a holistic journey at the crossroads of cutting-edge technology and ancestral rituals.

Traditional Moroccan hammam (2,200 MAD), treatment rooms, private suites… each space invites you to slow down and indulge in total care. Signature treatments by prestigious brands such as MarocMaroc, Sisley, Intraceuticals, Subtle Energies, and Dr. Burgener (3,700 MAD) extend this deep sense of relaxation (Collagen Firming Treatment by Dr. Burgener Switzerland – 75 minutes – 3,700 MAD; “Me Time” Hammam – 90 minutes – 2,200 MAD).

Superior Riad from 25,116 MAD per night.
