Suisen: ultra-trendy shiatsu in the Marais

Spa Japonais Suisen

A Japanese mirage? An ode to poetry? Almost. A detour on a small street of  the Marais, a vision of serenity. Here, suddenly appears the facade of a traditional Japanese tavern in burnt wood, on the Parisian pavement.

Inside, you notice a young lady in traditional kimono. Behind  a kumiko,  cedar screens, cèdre, a Japanese woman serves a cup or organic Japanese tea… It’s like being at the heart of a ryokan at the foot of Mont Fuji.

The decor is planted. This ultra-trendy shiatsu salon, we owe to Sandra Jollet, a Japanese buff, who went up and down the country to offer total immersion with a holistic approach. Upon entering, let go of your stress, in order to nestle even better in the Zen spirit of the venue.

Here, no phony massage, but a choice of 4 perfect treatments such as traditional shiatsu. A therapeutic massage that makes you feel really better, ailment treatments, applied on a tatami by a real guru.

Another house signature: Sei, the secret of youthful beauty Japanese gals. It tones skin, affirms its grain, erases traces of fatigue and expression wrinkles. You will lose 5 years in a flash. Without forgetting the Kei, a radically efficient method to streamline the silhouette.

We like: bamboo floors, a sculpted straw ceiling partition, washi wallpaper, a kimono in organic cotton, super trendy Japanese beauty products. Sandra Jollet went all out for an authentic slow-life parenthesis and a journey of the very best Japan has to offer.
