When a real New-yorker does her culinary training with Pierre Hermé (her heart throb godfather ) opens a pastry shop in the 16th, the result is « Sucreries de Mélodie, a sweet delightful sugarplum venue… A great place to boost or have a snack with panache !
On the shelves? A raspberry cake lollypop wrapped in white chocolate, long string candy: chocolaty caramel, pistachio, honey or orange blossom and real killer cookies (2-3€).
The must ? Her mini-donuts. We are impatiently waiting for her light sweet planned for the months of May. Her other specialty? Bouquets of cup-cakes just darling : cherry, white chocolate, raspberry….
We love: the deluxe pop-corn window with chocolate and ginger just like in the real American cinemas …
To be noted: she organizes one Saturday per month des champagne and pastry tasting workshops. Next venue on 20 April from 5pm to 7pm with Taittinger : 30€.
