3 wellness retreats to try once in your life

We often think that going on holiday is the best remedy to soothe both body and mind — and that is not entirely wrong. But sometimes, you can feel that you need to go a little further. Since the era of clean girls, Pilates, and wellnessbecoming a real priority, retreats have also taken center stage. Whether it is about recharging, reconnecting with yourself, letting go of deeply rooted blockages, or simply taking back control of your body, right now we are dreaming of treating ourselves to this kind of much-needed pause. Three retreats are especially tempting us: one in Bali, imagined by a former Do It Girl, another in Corsica in the heights of Calvi through a collaboration between La Villa Calvi and Alaena, and finally Le Chemin de la Santé for those who love fasting retreats across France. Focus on three retreats designed to help you reset, recentre, and start fresh.

Bee You Retreat

Where? Hop on a plane to discover Bali, the Indonesian island full of energy. The journey takes place across three islands, each chosen for the feeling it inspires: Uluwatu, facing the ocean for the arrival, Nusa Lembongan for complete surrender, and Ubud to reconnect with what truly matters.

The idea? Bee You Retreat is not the kind of “spiritual” retreat people often imagine. Far from the cliché of a guru-like experience, it is more of a pause designed for women who need to truly catch their breath again: burnout, life transitions, questioning everything… The program alternates between yoga, breathwork, sound healing, meditation, Balinese massages, and wellness treatments, but also includes swimming with manta rays, a purification ritual under a sacred waterfall, time spent with a Balinese family, and even a surf initiation. You can absolutely come on your own: the groups are small, which makes it easy to integrate, meet people, exchange, but also — and this is essential on such an emotional journey — move forward at your own pace, without pressure.

The extra touch? Practices that are still not widely known, yet feel just as good for the mind as for the body. Breathwork, for example, is based on breathing techniques that help release tension deeply. Sound healing seeks harmony through vibrations. It is the kind of experience that unlocks emotions you did not even realize you were carrying, and that you truly come back from feeling different.

How much does it cost? Between €1,500 and €2,800 — I’m buying it depending on the dates.

Next departures : from May 24 to June 2, from June 28 to July 4, from July 26 to August 1, and from August 23 to September 1. All information and bookings via the Instagram account @bee.you.retreat.

La Villa Calvi x Alaena

Where? In the heights of Calvi, in Corsica, in the heart of more than three hectares of Mediterranean gardens with breathtaking views over the bay, the citadel, and the mountains. A member of Relais & Châteaux, La Villa Calvi has been run by the Pinelli family for more than thirty years and cultivates a true five-star standard, while never losing the soul of a real family home.

The idea? For the duration of a retreat, Alaena and La Villa Calvi combine their worlds to imagine a confidential escape, conceived as a true experience of reconnection. On one side, Alaena, founded by a dermatologist and her daughters, has developed an approach to skincare at the crossroads of science, nature, and the skin’s overall well-being. On the other side, La Villa Calvi has always cultivated an art of living designed to soothe both body and mind, enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding nature. On the program: Alaena signature treatments, personalized expert massages, skin diagnosis and tailor-made rituals, an unforgettable Pilates class facing the bay of Calvi, a hike to breathe in nature, but also refined gastronomic experiences built around local and seasonal products. Everything is designed to care for your skin while calming your mind.

The extra touch? The skin diagnosis followed by a tailor-made Alaena ritual. The kind of deep treatment that teaches us more about our own skin.

How much does it cost? Around €2,000 for 3 nights — I’m buying it. Alaena x La Villa Calvi wellness retreat, from June 17 to June 20, 2026. More information and bookings on lavilla.fr

Le Chemin de la Santé

Where ? At Domaine de Saint-Pierre, an 18th-century manor house nestled at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in Provence. A place surrounded by nature, calm and full of light, where people come as much to slow down as to breathe a little better.

The idea ? Since 2013, Julie and Clemens have been guiding guests through the Buchinger method: a gentle fasting cure based on fruit and vegetable juices in the morning, herbal teas during the day, and a filtered broth in the evening, combined with four-hour guided walks in nature. Each day alternates between gentle body awakening — yoga, Pilates, or Qi Gong — outdoor walking, free time for treatments or access to the spa, then talks and workshops in the evening around naturopathy, meditation, or sound relaxation. There is no rigidity here, just caring support to help you learn more about your body, with flexible packages for those who do not wish to fast completely.

The extra touch ? The combination of fasting and walking outdoors — that is what changes everything. The body detoxes, the legs move, the mind clears, and after two days, you fall asleep like you have not in years.

How much does it cost ?  From €1,030 in a double room and €1,220 in a single room for a full week — I’m buying it, meaning 6 days and 6 nights, with support and accommodation included. More information on Le Chemin de la Santé.
