Still haven’t tried our new favorite Korean spot ? Perfect timing ! This month, Cercle by Do It members can enjoy a complimentary cocktail and a delicious fried chicken to share at the new HQ for Asian food lovers.
Seoul Vibes in the Heart of Pigalle
Located halfway between Pigalle and Saint-Georges, Hallyu Kitchen is already winning over Parisians who are passionate about Korean cuisine. Born from a 100% female partnership — Armelle handles the aesthetics, Julie the craftsmanship, and Su-hyun the flavors — the restaurant promises total escapism and a true journey without ever leaving Paris. The décor ? Stone paving inspired by Korean temples, pops of color carefully extracted from the founders’ own photos of Seoul, raw materials like concrete and natural wood, and a spacious mezzanine upstairs. Every detail guarantees an immersion into Seoul’s spirit before the very first bite.
A Culinary Journey to the Land of the Morning Calm
In the kitchen, Korean chef Su-hyun masters the classics to perfection, from the iconic Bibimbap in vegetarian or beef versions (€15), to the comforting Mandu Guk dumpling soup, and of course the crispy fried chicken to share (or not), which is offered to Cercle members.
She also delights guests with lesser-known dishes in France, including the house specialty : Ssam. The concept ? A table filled with marinated meats, traditional sides — including the famous kimchi — and perfectly cooked white rice, all meant to be wrapped in a crisp lettuce leaf to create the perfect bite. To finish on a fresh note, order the ultra-refreshing miso caramel sundae with buckwheat crunch (€6), ideal for digesting. All that’s left to do is browse the cocktail menu and choose your complimentary drink from the Hanok Spritz, the K-Pornstar, or the Seoul Mule!
Open daily for lunch from 12pm to 2pm. Open Monday to Thursday from 7pm to 10pm, Friday and Saturday until 10:30pm, and Sunday until 9:30pm.
