Jaja, the kind of small author table we adore

Jaja La Table Dauteur Quon Adooore

No need to mention this foodista nugget that hits the bull’s eye. For info, it’s the kids sister of Glou and Beaucoup,  the other stars tables in the area, opened by Julien Fouin, a former food critic, who really knows his stuff when it comes to good products.

We love: the decor that lets you enjoy a terrific meal in an ultra cool setting! A Scandinavian design twisted with old stones and beams from Paris. This luminous setting is nestled in the back of a courtyard, like the secrete hideaway of trendy foodies.

A la carte, real delights whipped up by the chef, a  super Italian. For this Fall: mint sauce artichokes with sautéed big shrimp (15€), a pastilla of sweetbreads with mushrooms (15€), stuffed squid (23€) or cannelloni with boar in a bouillon of cèpes…. yummy (20€).  For dessert: a pumpkin tatin tart with salty butter caramel or a tiramisu with orange, Cognac and chocolate milk. (9€).

The must? As indicated by the name of the restaurant, jaja (wine in French slang): here they have lots of nice bottles. Especially vintage wines by the glass, in order to treat yourself to a « real » deluxe moment by dipping your lips in a special elixir such as for   example this amazing Burgundy by Philippe Pacalé (18€ per glass).

Open every day from noon to 2h30pm and 8pm to 11pm.

Also discover moments takes residence at the Mandarin Oriental.
