Exclusively residential yet full of hidden gems, Paris’s 16th arrondissement boasts a wealth of cultural hotspots – Musée Galliera, Cité de l’Architecture, Musée d’Art Moderne, Fondation Vuitton – alongside diverse restaurants, the Bois de Boulogne… and some of the city’s most stunning luxury hotels.
Brach

It took bold vision to transform a former postal sorting center in a quiet residential neighborhood into a 5-star hotel—and one of the most hype addresses in Paris. “It’s an unusual place that invites exploration and travel,” says prolific designer Philippe Starck, whose signature style shines throughout. Across 59 rooms, including 7 suites with breathtaking terraces overlooking the Eiffel Tower, as well as in the common areas, eclectic shelves display African totems, books, and engravings. Noble materials dominate: rosewood, raw marble, and mirrors scattered throughout. The restaurant – bar and tea lounge in one – welcomes guests from breakfast through late-night drinks. Chef Adam Bentalha’s menu celebrates Mediterranean flavors. Come sunny days, the rooftop becomes the place to be in Paris.
The plus : a vast underground sports club where the pool stretches 22 meters long, plus a 6x6m hot pool ideal for aqua yoga and aqua Pilates. Group classes and personal coaching are available. At the spa by Clarins and Precious by Clarins, don’t miss the new Clarins Precious treatment combining signature Clarins techniques with Asian massage rituals. No wonder it ranks among the most beautiful hotels in Paris 16.
Brach, 1/7 rue Jean Richepin, Paris 16th. From €634 per night.
The Peninsula Paris

At the top of Avenue Kléber, The Peninsula Paris embodies the elegance of a grand Parisian lady, beautifully renovated in 2014 with the modern flair expected of today’s palaces. Spaciousness defines the experience: 200 rooms among the largest in Paris, including 93 suites designed like private apartments with separate dressing rooms and discreet technology. Contemporary artworks – from Niki de Saint Phalle to Jae Ko and Cho Sung-Hee – add a cultural thread throughout. Our favorite ? The Rooftop Eiffel Suite : 139 sqm with a private rooftop garden offering a spectacular face-off with the Eiffel Tower. Dining is orchestrated by David Bizet. L’Oiseau Blanc, with its rooftop terrace celebrating aviators Nungesser and Coli, holds two Michelin stars and even offers a private “Table Balcon for Two.” LiLi delivers refined Chinese cuisine in glamorous opera-inspired décor, while Le Lobby serves French classics and Anne Coruble’s Afternoon Tea. The Peninsula Spa features six treatment rooms, two private suites, an indoor pool, and vitality pools, partnering with Biologique Recherche and Margy’s.
The plus : experience Paris like a private club : Michelin-starred rooftop dining, yoga under the dome or on the roof, and laps in the 20-meter pool.

Molitor Hotel & Spa

The legendary Molitor pool opened in 1929, inaugurated by Olympic swimmer and actor Johnny Weissmuller. For 60 years, its indoor and outdoor pools were the ultimate place to see and be seen—even ice-skating in winter. Closed in 1989 and left abandoned, it was reborn in 2014 as a 5-star hotel designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel, with 117 rooms and 7 suites under the MGallery collection. Art Deco inspirations define the décor. Since September 2025, Molitor Jardin d’Hiver restaurant has settled poolside. Chef Tony Goncalves crafts a balanced land-and-sea menu: beef tartare with marigold, creamy cockle and mussel stew with leeks, or spelt risotto with apricots and figs. In warmer months, head to the spectacular rooftop for 360° views over Paris and the iconic pool below.
The plus : the spa by Clarins, Europe’s largest hotel spa, featuring 13 treatment rooms, duo cabins, a private suite, hammams, saunas, and a hair salon.

Flexitarians, vegetarians, meat lovers, and gluten-free diners all find something to enjoy.
