The Most Beautiful Hotels in Paris’s 8th Arrondissement

Hôtel de Sers

Just a 5-minute walk from the Champs-Élysées, this former private mansion belonging to the Marquis de Sers, built in the 1880s, has been transformed into an intimate 5-star property and is now considered one of the most beautiful hotels in Paris’s 8th arrondissement. It features 52 rooms, including 9 suites, half of which offer terraces with views of the Eiffel Tower. In addition, the 75 m² apartment is ideal for families and can accommodate up to four guests.

The recent interior design by architect Pascal Allaman skillfully blends Art Deco style, boudoir elegance, and historical touches: herringbone parquet flooring, antique paintings, geometric rugs, and warm beige and ochre tones. Highlights of the hotel include the reception lounge, the chic and intimate S’bar dominated by a striking chandelier, the portrait gallery, and the monumental staircase.

The ultimate touch of glamour? The discreet wellness area, where guests can indulge in the Exclusive de Sers Ritual, a 75-minute experience beginning with a sauna session followed by a revitalizing massage combining Swedish techniques, shiatsu, and foot and scalp reflexology. A truly blissful moment.

The plus: the restaurant is divided into two spaces with an indoor dining room and a patio featuring a living green wall beneath a glass roof—an unexpected oasis just steps from the Champs-Élysées. The menu by new chef Stefano Stafie celebrates refined Mediterranean cuisine with Italian influences, including dishes such as creatively presented vitello tonnato or linguine with langoustine bisque.

Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris

Ideally located on the Champs-Élysées, Fouquet’s Paris has been a legendary address since 1899. Its famous brasserie and café remain iconic Parisian meeting places—most notably for the famous César Awards dinners. It is also the last major luxury hotel in Paris still owned by a French family, which makes it even more special.

The hotel offers 101 rooms and suites ranging from 37 to 200 m², some with views of the Arc de Triomphe, all decorated by renowned designer Jacques Garcia. The interiors feature elegant beige and gold tones echoed in the oversized quilted headboards.

Located on the first floor, the Joy restaurant is a discreet yet sought-after spot for a romantic dinner. The spacious dining room features cozy alcoves and bookshelves creating a warm atmosphere, opening onto a beautiful garden terrace.

The spa is branded Decorté, a Japanese skincare brand available exclusively at Fouquet’s Paris. The cherry on top: it houses the largest swimming pool in the Champs-Élysées district.

The plus: Bar Marta, entirely covered from floor to ceiling in floral fabric—including the armchairs and even the servers’ jackets—creates a playful boudoir-style atmosphere that guests absolutely love.

Monsieur George

British design icon Anoushka Hempel—often credited with inventing the boutique hotel concept with her London property The Blakes Hotel in the 1970s—has transformed a classic Haussmannian building into a bold 5-star hotel.

Part of the Chapitre Six collection, the hotel is named after George Washington, a nod to the street where it is located. From the ground floor, guests immediately feel at ease thanks to the cosy atmosphere created by dark lacquers and deep green tones, checkerboard tile floors, velvet banquettes, and a spectacular chandelier.

The hotel offers 46 rooms including 3 suites, where dark shades such as black and grey dominate—except for the bright white suites on the top floor, including the Junior Suite with Eiffel Tower view.

One of the hotel’s greatest assets is its Michelin-starred restaurant Galanga, awarded a star in 2024 and led by chef Florian Gravelle since September 2025. At lunch, the menu features refined classics such as beef onglet steak, cod with yellow curry, and truffle macaroni. In the evening, guests can choose between two tasting menus: one with five courses and another with seven courses for serious food lovers. A true culinary delight.

The plus: the Monsieur George Spa by Lymfea, located in former vaulted cellars, offers a wonderfully relaxing escape.

Hôtel du Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées

Owned by the Esprit de France group, this 4-star boutique hotel enjoys a prime location just steps from the Champs-Élysées. Completely redesigned a few years ago by Dimore Studio, the property features 36 rooms and suites behind its Art Deco façade. Interiors combine pink stripes, mahogany, blue and green tones, playful leopard prints, vintage objects, and contemporary furniture.

The highlight? The Parisian Suite on the 8th floor, offering stunning views of the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Cœur, and the rooftops of Paris—perfect for a romantic stay in Paris.

Wellness facilities include a 13-meter indoor swimming pool, a hammam, and a relaxation area. Guests can also enjoy cocktails and sharing plates at the Daphné Bar.

The plus: the breakfast room, featuring the impressive Olympe mural and colorful armchairs—an inspiring way to start the day.

Hôtel Mathis Paris

Just steps from the Champs-Élysées and Avenue Montaigne, this 4-star hotel offers a discreet urban retreat. Opened in 1996 by Gérald Nanty, a well-known figure of Paris nightlife, Hôtel Mathis has kept its arty hideaway spirit, where guests come to retreat rather than to be seen.

Behind a classic bourgeois façade, the entrance surprises with gold-leaf ceilings and a narrow staircase wrapped in a bold leopard pattern leading to the hotel’s 25 rooms—no more.

Rather than flashy luxury, the focus here is on detail and personality. Superior Rooms charm guests with Elitis wallpapers and the subtle tones of Argile paints by Pierre Bonnefille, while Elegance Rooms feature custom-made furniture. Some Junior Suites open onto balconies overlooking typical Parisian façades.

A clever feature: the possibility to privatize an entire floor or combine several rooms, ideal for families or groups of friends. On the ground floor, Café Coutume attracts coffee lovers and brunch enthusiasts, while a Barbier Bonhomme barber corner adds a stylish urban touch.

The plus: its free-spirited and intimate atmosphere, inherited from its founder, continues to attract designers, writers, and aesthetes looking for a more secret side of Paris.

Le Norman

Owned by the Bertrand Group, Le Norman, which opened in September 2023 just steps from the Arc de Triomphe, is named after American painter and artist Norman Ives. Influenced by the Bauhaus movement and a key figure of American modernism in the 1950s and 1960s, he was known for his graphic and colorful artworks.

The interior design of this 5-star hotel, created by architect Thomas Vidalenc, pays tribute to the artist throughout the common areas and the 37 rooms, including 8 suites. References to Norman Ives appear in geometric patterned rugs and modernist abstract paintings, which complement the rosewood headboards, leather seating, and heavy natural wool curtains.

A clever feature: a Junior Suite can connect with a Superior Room, accommodating up to five guests. Guests also enjoy the cosy library lounge with fireplace and bar, perfect for relaxing. The spa, with sauna and pool, offers treatments using protocols developed by Omnisens, a French skincare brand—ideal after a day exploring Paris.

The plus: the restaurant by chef Thiou, a leading reference for Thai gastronomy in Paris, where diners rush to enjoy the famous “Crying Tiger” beef dish.
