Why you will adore going there: after Antibes and New York, Peppino Mammolito, known as the “Pope of pasta”, has opend in Paris with his Mamo, deliciously people (Leonardo DiCaprio, Natalie Portman, Kendall Jenner are already regulars). Needless to say that this kid brother of the Manko could only open in the 16th, near the Trocadero with a very neo-classical decoration.
The specialty: upscale eats! All sorts of truffles: risotto with white truffle from Alba (€52), truffle pizza (€48), truffle burrata (€38), Mamo Burger with foie gras and fresh truffle (€44). For those who are not addicted to the black diamond: penne all’arrabiata (€16), osso buco (€55). It goes down very nicely with a Pétrus (€4800) or a bottle of Chianti (55 €)—depending on your budget.
Open Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner.
