A yummy and kids friendly brunch at Batignolles

Fan De Carotte brunch with savoury or sweet plump pancakes, a very tempting pumpkin soup with croutons, a soft boiled egg to be dipped into with sliced bread along with a torrid gouda with truffle, a hot beverage (chocolate, café au lait, cappuccino, chai latte…) and the juice of the moment.

The place

At the heart of the buzzing Batignolles - Pramland for those in the know - is the new H.Q. of young bustling parents. Launched by two authentically kids friendly entrepreneurs, Fan de Carotte highlights activities to keep our children busy and fed while these parents profitent d’une délicieuse grignote bien méritée entre adultes. During the week there is a semaine coffee-shop style breakfast or a balanced lunch, while the weekend celebrates just the kind of comforting brunch we love.

On the programme of treats

On one side, in room reserved just for them, kids can be creative with stickers and play at being budding Picassos with a friendly animator between two mouthfuls of ham/mashed potatoes/soft boiled egg/cookie/cheese. A terrific recess!

On the other side, near the playhouse for toddlers, older kids can choose between 3 or 4 à la carte specialties: savoury or sweet plump pancakes (will you find their secret ingredient ?), a very tempting pumpkin soup with croutons, a soft boiled egg to be dipped into with sliced bread along with a torrid gouda with truffle, a hot beverage (chocolate, café au lait, cappuccino, chai latte…) and the juice of the moment.

The added plus

Of course, everything is home-made essentially with organic products, always using short circuits. The added heart asset? With its extra fresh ingredients, the team whips up healthy baby food jars, to be eaten then and there or to go (between €3 and 4.50 each). Nota bene: there is a pram/stroller park inside the restaurant and all the material needed to change little ones.

Brunch served on the weekend until 3:30pm. Reservations by telephone. €24 or 26 for adults, €9 for kids.
