Winter is just around the corner, along with our growing urge to find warm hideaways to escape the rain or polar chill. We roamed Paris to uncover the best indoor experiences to brighten up your days and nights: become an actor on a movie set at Make It Clap, a rock star at Bam Karaoke, or a pro golfer at Chill & Golf…

What if it was finally time to indulge our inner child—the one who dreamed of strutting across Hollywood film sets or starring in the biggest festivals like Meryl Streep or Brad Pitt? Make It Clap makes that dream come true inside its professional studio, where you shoot your own short film and become the star of your very own movie. The concept ? Three filming options await aspiring actors: a 3-hour “short film in the can”, a small everyday-life scene or a green-screen sketch shot in just 1 hour.

Once the script is chosen and the roles assigned, you head to the dressing room to slip into character with costumes and accessories galore. Then: action, make it clap, roll camera! The magic happens instantly, leaving you wondering whether you missed your true calling. After shooting, you enter the studio’s dark screening room to admire your face in 4K on the big screen, popcorn included (sweet or salty) for a full cinema experience. Calling all Pitch Perfect fans and shower-singing pros : Bam Karaoke, the brand that turned group screaming into an unexpectedly glamorous art, introduces BAM Battles, their Thursday-night musical ring hosted in their chic 9th arrondissement venue.

The concept ? Under the spotlights, two brave contenders face off in a vocal showdown around a microphone dropping dramatically from the ceiling, while a hyped-up audience chooses the winner with sheer applause. If you prefer cheering from the sidelines, the décor alone is worth the detour : dim lights, leopard-print carpet, and wild statement fixtures. The cherry on top? A cocktail menu full of musical references – Bad B’Honey (€11), Bootylicious (€9), Basil Rhapsody (€12) – perfect to sip solo or pair with spreads, boards, and sweet treats for a festive night out.

And if your voice truly is as angelic as you think, you might win cocktails, shots, or 15 minutes of karaoke in a private room.

Golf is having a major moment ! While several upscale venues have popped up to introduce Parisians to indoor greens, Chill & Golf, located at the very start of Avenue Niel, stands out by pairing its sports offer with one of the neighborhood’s rare cocktail bars.

Inspired by the gentlemen’s clubs of London and New York, this new urban golf hub spreads across two levels featuring a sophisticated décor: velvet upholstery, equestrian wallpaper and elegant woodwork. Co-founded by three communication and hospitality pros, the venue relies on cutting-edge simulators using motion sensors and 3D modeling for a surprisingly immersive experience.
