Seven houses for a dream hotel

Hotel Crillon Le Brave

By Anne Lefèvre

A hop to the Festival in or off Avignon … And an ultra cool stopover in an amazing hotel thirty kms from the Cité des Papes… The place: Crillon Le Brave, a lovely Provencal village hosting seven houses dating back to the 16th and 17 th centuries under the aegis of Relais & Châteaux, with a stunning view on the mont Ventoux…

Today the hotel comprises 32 rooms and suites divided between the 7 houses, decorated with patinas, recycled objects and fabrics by leading English decorators … A charming and  hype atmosphere, reinforced by the large pool and  mini-spa with hot stone treatments. For strolls in the area as a twosome or with a group of pals, the hotel lends out bikes. There is even a special place to play the local “boules” game! It’s really the happy go lucky life in the rhythm of the South…

Same refinement for the restaurant, managed by recently arrived Jérôme Blanchet, a young chef who trained in other Med venues,  in Nice and around the High-Var… A sunny cuisine and regional products with local  top vintages: Côtes du Rhône, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Châteauneuf-du-Pape…!

Menu starting at 50 €

To come have a drink, while watching the sublime sunsets, choose one of the terraces or the La Grange Bar with its  splendid stone vaults covered with mirrors reflecting the Ventoux …

Découverte & Saveurs Offer

Starting at 244, 50 € per person on the basis of a double standard room, dinner for 2 persons ( drinks included) and breakfasts.

Hot tip : All year long, the hotel features exceptional rates on rooms in the Last Minute formula (starting at 22O €)
