La Suite 101 — Hair Room Service at Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme

The place: A hidden gem inside the prestigious Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme, Suite 101 is the private salon of celebrity hairstylist John Nollet, famous for his Hair Room Service Around the World concept created in collaboration with Louis Vuitton. This exclusive suite combines luxury and wanderlust, with custom trunks, refined décor, and unique pieces sourced from across the globe.

Our test: The Lady Stanhope haircut (€200) is more than just a trim it’s a wellness ritual. The experience begins with a soothing “hair bath” while lying on a chaise longue, followed by a heavenly scalp massage. Even if John himself isn’t available, his expert team, trained for years under his guidance, delivers his signature cut with surgical precision. Each movement is designed to make your hair naturally fall into place after every wash.

The extra touch: Discreet Parisian luxury and personalized care that make you feel like a movie star plus, the cut lasts for months.

Etienne Sekola — The Couture of Hair in Le Marais

The salon: Located in a stunning 17th-century mansion in the heart of Le Marais, Etienne Sekola’s salon shares its space with the LSd Gallery, blending beauty and contemporary design. Known for styling top French film stars like Marina Foïs and Pierre Niney, Etienne follows one mantra: enhance the natural beauty of the hair rather than fight it. While he masters the art of the cut, Marion and Nolwenn take care of the color work (€180) after a thoughtful consultation.

Our test: The long-hair cut (€210) by Etienne himself. He studies the natural fall and texture of your hair before even picking up the scissors. The experience begins at the shampoo station, where a pre-wash treatment hydrates and protects the hair — a trick we’re keeping for home use. For our frizzy and wavy hair, Etienne recommended balancing a long cut and air-drying with a diffuser to enhance natural curls. A few curling iron touches later, we’re ready to embrace our true texture.

The extra touch: A warm, high-end welcome that makes the whole experience feel like pure self-care.

Etienne Sekola, 5 rue Aubriot, Paris 4e. Open Tuesday to Friday, 10am–7pm

Martha — The Chicest Hair Collective in Paris

The salon: Founded by Margot Mélinand, Martha is a unique space celebrating craftsmanship and the art of self-care. Her idea? A collective of independent hairstylists, each with their own expertise, sharing a cozy, house-like salon. The space includes a boutique with top haircare products, a mini coffee corner for sipping a matcha latte (€5) during your color session, and even private suites for total privacy. Prices vary depending on the stylist (cuts from €55, colors from €85).

Our test: We tried the Hypercare+ treatment (€200) by our favorite stylist Mickaël, who specializes in scalp lymphatic drainage. The ritual starts with a shoulder and scalp massage, followed by exfoliation, a Davines shampoo, and a nourishing mask — all while you’re lying on a heated bed under a soft blanket. During the mask’s pause, Mickaël pampers your face with cleansing, exfoliation, and a mini massage. You finish with a Hollywood-worthy blowout. On a tighter budget? Try the Quickcare version (€75, 50 minutes) with a lighter routine and air-dry finish.

The extra touch: At the entrance, you can use Dyson Air Wraps, GHD tools, and premium brushes for a free express styling session the perfect pre-dinner hair fix.

Martha - Maison de Coiffeurs, 8 Quai de la Mégisserie, Paris 1er. 06 87 62 93 12. Open daily, 9:20am–7pm

La Belle Boucle Studio — Paradise for Curly Hair

The salon: After the success of its first location in Sentier, La Belle Boucle Studio expands to the 11th arrondissement with a vibrant, flower-filled salon entirely dedicated to curly and wavy hair. Bright, joyful, and designed for comfort (yes, there are massaging shampoo chairs!), it’s the go-to place to finally understand and love your natural curls.

Our test: The Curly Hair Routine (€115), a 1.5-hour ritual that includes a personalized hair diagnosis, relaxing shampoo, deep hydration, detangling, and a custom cut (wet or dry). The session ends with diffuser styling that revives every curl. The result? Defined spirals, mirror-like shine, and hair that feels lighter than ever.

The extra touch: You leave with a clear understanding of your hair type, the right products to use, and how to style your curls at home. Forget the default blow-dry — here, it’s all about embracing your natural texture.

La Belle Boucle Studio, 113 rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, Paris 11e. Open Monday to Saturday, 10am–7pm . Réservation en ligne.
