“We’re not a 5-star hotel, but we will be the most beautiful 4-star hotel in the world,” promises Jules Brenier, the owner of the property. And after discovering Le Mirage, perched above Le Lavandou, we’re more than happy to agree. Here, luxury is understated: endless views over the Mediterranean, a hanging garden, swimming pools nestled between the blue of the sky and the sea… After 18 months of renovations, Le Mirage has entered a new era, welcoming new suites, a restaurant led by rising chef Elie Fishmann, and a stunning Codage spa—all set against a backdrop where nature remains the true star.
A dream suspended above the sea

Since its rebirth in 2020, Le Mirage has established itself as one of those addresses whispered only among insiders. This year, the hotel has grown from 35 to 73 rooms and suites, scattered among lush vegetation. Inside, the same philosophy prevails: natural materials, sandy tones, clean lines and floor-to-ceiling windows let the surrounding landscape take center stage.
Some suites even come with their own private pool (the ultimate dream), while a brand-new swimming pool completes this suspended setting, with nothing but the bay of Le Lavandou and the Golden Islands stretching out before you. A truly cinematic backdrop for living life at the pace of the sun. Ultimately, Le Mirage has everything we love: a secluded address in the heart of the Var, nature everywhere you look, a cuisine that travels, and that delicious feeling of being both alone in the world and wonderfully well looked after.
Monsieur Yuzu, Elie Fishmann’s fusion cuisine

Fascinated by Asia, Jules Brenier has teamed up with chef Elie Fishmann to create, at Monsieur Yuzu, a menu where Mediterranean ingredients meet the flavors of Japan. Local produce, plant-based ingredients, umami and Asian influences come together in a delicate yet surprising culinary composition (€90 set menu). We’re still dreaming about the Monsieur Yuzu dynamite shrimp (€18), misho & coconut amberjack (€28), Kagoshima Wagyu beef tenderloin (€39), and the dessert we loved enjoying by the pool: mango, tapioca and coconut milk (€14), an absolute burst of freshness.
To accompany it all, we’re more than happy to indulge in the creations of Benjamin Martinet, head bartender and mixologist, who dreams up signature cocktails perfectly paired with the chef’s creations (signature cocktails from €20, classic cocktails from €15).
A spa surrounded by nature for ultimate relaxation

Another major new addition: a 500 sqm Codage spa, designed as a true wellness sanctuary. Bathed in natural light and opening onto the gardens, it naturally extends that feeling of living immersed in nature. Come here to slow down, switch off and, quite incidentally, forget what time it is. Take in the views, enjoy a session in the sauna, then surrender to a bespoke Codage treatment (couture body/face treatment from €110) before heading back out to meditate by the sea.
