Free range chicken and top notch meats without having to spend your nest egg, this is the super deal of this hot new dining room right neat the Pantheon. Bingo.

But then, Olivier Andréani, the owner of the legendary Corsican restaurant Cosi knows his stuff. With his wife Charlotte, this down to earth Corsican has just opened across the street La Table de Marie-Jeanne, a New Age rôtisserie with a wildly design look.

At 26 € lunch and inner, the unique formula of this address revolving exclusively around spit roasted meats hits the bull’s eye. At the bar or around the XXL communal table, everybody loves their courgettes fritters made with the original recipe of Marie-Jeanne. The mother of Olivier serves the same ones in the family inn Chez Léon, an institution on the island of Beauty.

To be followed up with a choice of meats (free range chicken, beef, butcher’s choice), or all three at once (+ 3 €), spit roast of course with a small grilled taste that is irresistible. On the side, house potato and salad just like at home, #yummy.

American style apple pie, a regressive rice pudding or vintage vacherin for 5 € extra. Conclusion? Think of it for your next hen dinner.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 2:15pm and from 7pm to 10:30pm.
