Spritz and signature pasta at Denny Imbroisi

Spotted in Top Chef, the Italian from the class of 2012 has just opened his first restaurant. Its name? IDA par Denny Imbroisi. Chronicle of a huge predictable success.

This is a new episode for the talented 28-year-old, with an already very successful career, who worked in star-studded venues in Italy, then in France (Mirazur in Menton, Ze Kitchen Galerie and Jules Verne in Paris).

His credo? Serving an updated and refined Italian cuisine with good products at affordable prices. We are conquered.

The 30€ lunch enables you to pick from four dishes. For us, the house focaccia with pumpkin flour; a refreshing raw tartare of royal marinated sea bass, surrounded with crispy radish and ginger; then pasta or the dish, certainly the most sexy carbonara ever, sprinkled with peanuts, pancetta and a perfect egg.

And for dessert an ultra light destructured strawberry tart (strawberries, yogurt ice cream, olive oil crumble).

In the evening, enjoy a Spritz before letting yourself be guided by the chef (menus 45 and 65€).

We adore: the neobistrot decor, chic and modern, with banquettes in blue velvet, bare bulbs on a red thread, photos of his friend JR and the shiny ham machine, with a bodywork design like a Ferrari.

The plus: a last shot of limoncello or liquorish liqueur, 100% home-made production by his Dad.

 

Open from Monday to Saturday, lunch and dinner.
