Zebra, the new terrace in the 16th

The new Le Zebra terrace of the 16th decorated as a Mediterranean garden

Those who were privy to the hours of the Zebra’s socialite hours of glory are really going to enjoy the great revival of this cult address across from the Maison de la Radio. The others will be delighted to learn that an address worthy of this name has just opened in the 16th arrondissement.

And with reason : Alexandre Giesbert and Julien Ross (the ultra hip group of Da Rocco) is back with boosted energy and their keen sense of what is a  contemporary brasserie.

Everything has been conceived to please, starting with a terrific  terrace, thought out like a Med garden and an ultra sophisticated decor (copper, polished wood, patchwork marble) and no less than Chloé Charles, the most coveted start chef of the moment to conceive the menu.

Here one meets all honchos of Radio France from Léa Salamé, including Guillaume Gallienne or Augustin Trapenard and all the trendies in the 16th.

Great Parisian eats starting with happy hour plates◊ saucisson (9 euros) or cervelle de canut (8 euros)— as well as traditional dishes such as  leeks with vinaigrette and sesame (9 euros) or eggs mimosa (9 euros).

The same Parisian style is applied for dishes: raw beef tartare, pommes pont neuf, green salad (24 euros)  Aïoli of hake (26 euros) or roasted chicken, mashed potatoes (30 euros). Curtain dropped with the cheese of Taka et Vermo, a rhubarb raspberry vacherin (10 euros) or the praliné millefeuille.

We like : the great cocktails and the seafood bar. To be noted, the possibility of hanging out on the terrace at happy hour.

Open everyday.
