To celebrate the 60 years of Le Petit Nicolas, the Louis Vuitton Foundation had put together a terrific exhibition this weekend. The ideal occasion to rediscover the amusing drawings and humour of the cult character created by Goscinny and Sempé...

With more than 222 forgotten stories, there certainly was enough material to celebrate the poetry and clever humour of the Petit Nicolas !

From the school recess courtyard to holidays at camp or in no man’s land. “My daddy is the strongest,”—“I want to go home to my Granny,”Edwige always in love, supervisors Bouillon and Monsieur Blédurt… On the walls of Frank Gehry’s building, the original drawings sketched in Chinese ink by Jean-Jacques Sempé are presented along with all the marvelous texts of René Goscinny. 100 % kid-friendly colouring workshops

It seems that the Foundation really knows how to appeal to family outings. In addition to the exhibition, a spectacular colouring workshop was conceived and set up in the auditorium.

Kids and grownups will be able to colour the drawing of Le Petit Nicolas which will morph into a cartoon on the app BlinkBook, then be projected on a large screen. Classy and funny!

Colouring workshops from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

€16 for an adult ticket, €5 for kids. Family ticket 2 parents + 4 enfants at €32
