It’s THE favorite outing of posh Parisians who like to wander around as soon as the sun comes out. And good news for those who don’t want to travel too far: it’s only 15 minutes from the Opéra !
For it’s 92nd edition on the Ile des Impressionnistes, just as divine and bucolic as always (Auguste Renoir painted several masterpieces here), the fair is more bucolic than ever with a theme dedicated to "French Style".
What does one find there? Vintage trunks (starting at 150€), wicker armchairs and garden furniture, old-school kitchen utensils (30€), industrial standing lamps (435€) vintage Saint Louis or Baccarat glasses, mismatching porcelain plates, and even amazing fur coats! In short, a paradise for antique lovers and all budgets.
The utmost of chic, sitting down to enjoy delicious earthy dishes amongst the score of old-fashioned food stands: 16€ for a plate of suckling pig, 12€ for a dozen oysters, 3,50€ for two scoops of home-made ice cream. Yummy!
Tops: you arrive with your hair blowing in the wind! A little train awaits you at the RER A Rueil Malmaison, exit on rue des deux gares. So chic my dear !
Until the 20th of March from 10am to 7pm. Entrance 6€, free for kids under 15 years old.
Also discover Huguette for happy hour and seafood on a terrace.
