These 5 hotels in central Paris all have one thing in common: they are next-generation 5-star hotels, yet each one is completely unique. What they also share is an unconventional interior design, a truly distinctive asset. Let’s dive in…
Maison Barrière le Vendôme

At the helm of iconic hotels like Fouquet’s, Normandy and Majestic, the Barrière group innovates by opening a boutique hotel in the heart of Paris, between the Tuileries and Place Vendôme. After eight years of renovation, the former Lacoste headquarters has been transformed into an intimate 5-star luxury hotel. Designed by Daniel Jibert, the décor celebrates the French art of living with Versailles parquet flooring, Pierre Frey fabrics and Lalique wall lights. Each of the ten rooms and sixteen suites (including seven apartments) is inspired by a famous woman, reflecting her life story. Writers, singers, actresses: Marguerite Yourcenar, George Sand, Audrey Hepburn and Joséphine Baker all shared a love for France. The Marlène Dietrich suite features palm motifs inspired by Beverly Hills, while the Agatha Christie suite includes a library filled with her novels. The largest, the George Sand suite (94 m²), offers a living-dining room ideal for hosting up to 12 guests, a professional kitchen and a balcony with views over Paris.
The highlight: the Frida (Kahlo) bar-restaurant, with its vibrant and colorful décor inspired by the artist’s paintings. On the menu, modern French cuisine: truffle croque-monsieur, Wagyu beef tagliata, sea bream ceviche.

Nolinski Paris

Just steps from the Opéra, Comédie-Française and the Tuileries, this 5-star hotel in Paris enjoys a dream location. Jean-Louis Deniot designed an elegant décor with playful touches, starting with the marble-clad lobby in shades of emerald green and blue, and the striking ceiling in the lounge. The staircase itself feels like a work of art, combining wood, brass, marble and bronze. The 45 rooms (including 9 suites) blend noble materials, moldings, vintage furniture and sculptures, creating the feel of private Parisian apartments. Each room is named after iconic figures such as Sacha Guitry, Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso or Joséphine Baker. At Nolinski Le Restaurant, John Whelan’s décor mixes Art Deco with a 70s vibe. Chef Philip Chronopoulos offers a refined take on French gastronomy: veal blanquette, sea bass with beurre blanc, truffled pâté en croûte. Don’t miss the spa, featuring a 14-meter pool, exclusive myBlend treatments and a cutting-edge LED mask experience.
