The most beautiful hotels in the 7th arrondissement of Paris

The 7th arrondissement is considered the most exclusive in Paris. Its private mansions, embassies, and ministries stand alongside lively houseboats, high-end boutiques… and numerous museums that add even more appeal to the neighborhood (Musée du Quai Branly, Musée de l’Armée at Invalides, Musée d’Orsay, Musée Rodin). Here are our favorite 4 and 5-star hotel addresses for a stay between the Seine embankments and Le Bon Marché.

L’Hôtel SAX Paris

Leading our selection of the most beautiful hotels in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, this imposing 1899 building with a neo-Gothic facade adorned with pediments and bas-reliefs has been shining with 5 stars since its inauguration in April 2025. Driven by Philippe and Karine Journo, heads of the LXR Hotels & Resorts collection, the transformation of the former Ségur telephone exchange is a true success, full of surprises. The most astonishing? The Iconic Galerie, the ground-floor bar lined with 200 mirrors, bordered by red velvet sofas and lit by Baccarat chandeliers. Also on the ground floor, you will find the SAX restaurant, open to all, and the interior garden courtyard featuring a swimming pool—a rare find in the summer for lunch or a drink.

The 118 rooms and suites, designed by a very famous designer who chose to remain anonymous (though insiders will easily guess their identity!), showcase wood, leather, and brass for a highly successful result. As for the marble-clad bathrooms, they are among the most beautiful ever seen!

The plus: the Kinugawa Rive Gauche restaurant with its breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower, its terrace, and its refined Japanese-inspired menu in an elegant, contemporary, and cozy setting for a perfect meal. There is even dancing in the evening during high-energy DJ sets. On the top floor, the 350 m² rooftop stands out as one of the most beautiful in Paris with its stunning panorama!

Hôtel SAX Paris, 55 avenue de Saxe, Paris 7e.  From €500 per night.

L’Hôtel Montalembert

The first 5-star boutique hotel on the Left Bank, Hôtel Montalembert, a member of the B Signature Group, is one of those addresses whispered among insiders. Since 1926, it has embodied the soul of authentic Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Ideally located just steps from the church, it is both close to the buzz of the cafés and sheltered from any unnecessary bustle! Behind its Haussmannian facade, the 40 rooms and 12 suites (located on the 7th and 8th floors with breathtaking views over the rooftops of Paris) display a quintessentially Parisian elegance designed by Pascal Allaman and Géraldine Prieur. Warm tones, noble materials (brass, wood, Pierre Frey silk curtains), and geometric patterned carpets… we love it. As for the spa, designed by Batiik Studio, it is the perfect place for a signature treatment of 60, 90, or even 120 minutes: a symphony of Swedish and Shiatsu massages or a 60-minute Kobido face lift.

The plus: the restaurant led by chef Cyril Russo, who creates a modern menu while keeping the spirit of traditional cuisine: soft-boiled eggs, roasted mushrooms, fresh herbs, braised beef chuck, or a simple croque-monsieur or Caesar salad, culminating in a superb tarte tatin. All this is enjoyed in an elegant and friendly setting: large rounded banquettes and wood-paneled walls. In fine weather, guests can also enjoy a large terrace sheltered from passers-by in one of the most beautiful areas of Paris.

Hôtel Montalembert, 3 rue de Montalembert, Paris 7e. From €402 per night.

L’Hôtel La Bourdonnais

Hôtel La Bourdonnais pays tribute to Bertrand-François Mahé de La Bourdonnais, a naval officer, lieutenant of the French East India Company, and a great 18th-century explorer. It is no surprise, then, that this 4-star boutique hotel from the Inwood Hotels collection, completely renovated in March 2026 and located a stone's throw from the Champ de Mars, revisits the spirit of the great voyages between East and West. The new decor by Oscar Lucien Ono (Maison Numéro 20) highlights noble materials (wood, leather…) and tones of brown, gold, terracotta, and deep blue in the 53 rooms and suites (some with views of the Eiffel Tower) and common areas. Custom furniture completes the cozy atmosphere. Good to know: Junior Suites can accommodate four people, perfect for families on the go. The downside: no restaurant, but a superb breakfast to devour before setting out to explore the capital.

The plus: the Minuit Express bar, of course, whose new hyper-cozy decor is ideal for romantic dates. Fine spirits, signature cocktails, and creative bites are served here.

La Bourdonnais, 111-113, av. de La Bourdonnais Paris 7e. From €200 per night.

L’Hôtel d’Orsay

Between the Seine, the Musée d’Orsay, and Les Invalides, this 4-star hotel from the Esprit de France group enjoys a rare location… and a unique history. Once the residence of Napoleon I's surgeon, it became a popular hotel during the 1900 Universal Exhibition. Then, in 1998, Hôtel Solférino and Hôtel Résidence Orsay merged to become the address we know today.

Behind the classic facade featuring four 18th-century sculptures, you will find 42 rooms ranging from 10 m² to 50 m², showcasing antique furniture and authentic artworks from the mid-19th to early 20th centuries, a nod to the neighboring Musée d’Orsay. Not to mention numerous contemporary pieces, such as a diptych by Jean-Pierre Bertrand under the glass roof and a bronze sculpture by Roseline Granet created specifically for the hotel's inner garden, as well as paintings from Asia. There is no restaurant here either, but a buffet breakfast and afternoon tea are provided.

The plus: from the hotel, the joy of crossing the Léopold Sédar-Senghor footbridge to reach the Tuileries Garden and the Louvre Museum.

Hôtel d’Orsay, 93 rue de Lille, Paris 7e. From €316 per night.

Le Narcisse Blanc Hôtel & Spa

On one of the most elegant avenues in the 7th arrondissement, Le Narcisse Blanc is a 5-star hotel that plays its cards close to its chest. True to the codes of its neighborhood, the hotel aims to be a place of absolute discretion. Named Narcisse Blanc as a nod to the dancer Cléo de Mérode, who was nicknamed "pretty little narcissus" by her friend the musician Reynaldo Hahn, a large portrait of her sits in the small lounge... She was the first photographic icon of the early 20th century, immortalized by the greats: Nadar, Reutlinger, and a muse to Klimt, Degas, and Falguière…

The decor emphasizes soft tones—beige, powder pink, champagne—and precious materials—velvet, satin, tweed. On the floors, Hungarian point parquet or marble extends through the 30 rooms and 7 suites. The best? The Cléo suite with its attic volumes, fireplace, and view of the Eiffel Tower: a dream for a romantic weekend in Paris. In the Cléo (!) restaurant under the glass roof, in a cozy atmosphere, new chef Alexandre Semperé creates contemporary cuisine focused on vegetables and seafood.

The plus: the spa where treatments are by Anne Sémonin, offering a cabin and a 13-meter pool with a counter-current, relaxation beds, sauna, and fitness room.

Le Narcisse Blanc Hôtel & Spa, 19 boulevard de La Tour-Maubourg, Paris 7e. From €709 per night.

Hôtel Le Cinq Codet, arty and contemporary loft spirit

Transforming a 1930s telephone exchange into a 5-star hotel? That was the bold challenge met by the talented Jean-Philippe Nuel. The architect imagined the decor like a luxurious Parisian pied-à-terre, enhancing the building's style: geometric lines, large bay windows, and interior volumes. In the 67 rooms and suites ranging from 17 m² to 85 m², you will find large openings, light oak, mezzanines or loggias, pale gray tones, and touches of color. The whole is punctuated by a host of artworks including paintings, sculptures, photographs, and pieces by renowned designers—Tom Dixon, Elisabeth Garouste, Patricia Urquiola—alongside furniture by Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen.

The Chiquette restaurant, named after a novel by Louis Codet (La petite Chiquette), offers traditional and generous cuisine where vegetables take center stage. The cherry on top: the bar opening onto an outdoor patio.

The plus: on the third floor, the Spa du Cinq Codet offers an open-air whirlpool, a double massage cabin, a hammam, a hot tub, a gym, and rituals from afar like Abhyanga to balance energies, Shiatsu to awaken vital flows, or Jet Lag for physical recovery.

Le Cinq Codet, 5 rue Louis Codet, Paris 7e. From €365 per night.
