Madonna : An osteria like in Milan

What could be more comforting in this crisp return than settling into a warm atmosphere in a new, chic, smart, and comfortable location ? Welcome to Madonna, which establishes itself near Cadet as a true Milanese osteria with a touch of irresistibly Parisian charm. Steering the ship are Eva-Louise and Alex Laporte, the latest generation (and inspired!) of a family of restaurateurs, who notably own L’Escargot Montorgueil. They have already succeeded in turning an Italian address into a coveted headquarters for the beautiful people of the 9th arrondissement.

A Table for Two... or Ten

Madonna has a big heart and a generous table. Whether you come as a duo or for a grand banquet with a group, its spacious room and well-thought-out spaces offer clever corners away from prying eyes. At the back, a majestic bar evokes cravings for a Negroni (especially the surprising truffle-infused option, €12), creating an impression of entering a 60s den envisioned by Véronique Laporte. It's adorned with woodwork, frescoes by Bruno Ruscoli, and dark velvet, its plush charm accentuated by white tablecloths and extraordinary ceiling moldings.

A Tavola!

At Madonna, there's no pizza, but a friendly menu of antipasti, primi piatti, and secondi piatti. Start by sharing a Genoese focaccia to dip in olive oil (€6) and a delightful vitello tonnato (€15) before moving on to pasta : paccheri and polpette (€18), spaghetti with sea urchins (€25), must-try linguine alle vongole (€24), or ravioli filled with pumpkin and potatoes adorned with grated provolone (€21). For main courses, the obvious choice is the osso buco, a rarity in Paris (€29), unless you opt to share a veal escalope alla milanese for two (€69).

Get ready for your Insta story to capture the assembly of a tiramisu before your eyes, during which the waiter soaks the ladyfingers directly in coffee, generously covers them with mascarpone, and sprinkles the whole thing with chocolate (€14). Too lovely!

Madonna. Open every day from 12 pm to 12 am.
