Led by an electric trio of women, this restaurant offers beauty and surprises all the way to its theatrical basement. A sexy spot you're going to love!

 

A Remarkable Setting

In a whirlwind of patterns, fabrics, tapestries, and luxurious materials, this dreamy space is bound to spark envy. Designed by Louis Morgan Studio, Red Katz brings back glamour with multiple spaces that will dazzle your eyes and spice up your Insta stories. At the entrance, a spectacular bar leads to an equally stunning dining room, adorned with lovely banquettes and chic marble tables. A voluptuous wooden structure here evokes traditional Chinese houses; further in, oversized lampshades float under a glass ceiling. And it doesn’t stop there! The basement features intimate private dining rooms, perfect for group dinners, with three breathtaking spaces: a velvet-lined alcove with a large burgundy oak table, a Studio 54-style disco room covered in mirrors, and a secret room for 14 exclusive guests. Beautiful, even down to the bathrooms!

Partners in life, Claire Huang, Hélène Ding, and Hélène Huang have poured their vibrant energy into this dream restaurant. Coming from families of restaurateurs, these chic French-Chinese globetrotters have a passion for beauty, great food, and the love of celebration—all values they’re eager to share at Red Katz!

 

Traditional Dishes with a 2024 Twist

The menu gracefully navigates between traditional Chinese dishes made to perfection and modern fusion gems. For a feast, we were served a basket of Hakaos, the famous handmade dim sums, available in shrimp (4 pieces for €14) and vegetarian versions (4 pieces for €12). Alongside them, Xialongbaos stuffed with pork and chives (6 pieces for €18) or chicken and ginger (6 pieces for €18). Next, we ditched the chopsticks to grab some delicious Chinese donuts dipped generously in a creamy tofu sauce—oh la la! (€16). The meal continued with crispy fried sea bass in sweet and sour sauce (€32), indulgent gongbao chicken (€26), and divine fried eggplant sautéed in a spicy-sweet sauce (€22). Not to be missed: the Peking duck, served in two courses, available by order (€120). For a sweet touch, go for the grapefruit sorbet or oolong tea ice cream (€7).

But the night’s not over yet! A must-stop at the bar is in order, where you’re sure to encounter fabulous night owls with a cocktail in hand!

Open daily from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, until 2:00 AM on weekends.
