Le Rem by REMINISCENCE Celebrates 30 Years in Paris

Some fragrances instantly bring back happy memories… sometimes so vividly they almost bring tears to your eyes. That’s exactly what we felt when spraying Le Rem on our wrists, the cult fragrance by REMINISCENCE whose marine notes defined the 1990s and 2000s. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of this iconic scent, the perfume house is opening a one-day-only pop-up in the heart of Le Marais on May 30. Consider this your official invitation.

 

Capturing the Spirit of the Mediterranean

Wearing Le Rem feels like escaping to the French Riviera. Instantly recognizable, the fragrance opens with fresh marine accords blended with lilac and jasmine, before revealing the depth of patchouli and the aromatic warmth of fenugreek. The scent finally melts into addictive base notes of vanilla, tonka bean and white musks, leaving behind the sensual trail of warm sand and endless summer holidays.

Created in 1996 by master perfumer Francis Camail, this floral-marine fragrance quickly became one of REMINISCENCE’s most recognizable signatures worldwide. Relaunched in 2024 under the direction of Gaëlle de Prunelé and David Lozano, the brand recently opened a new flagship boutique in Cannes, reaffirming its radiant connection to the French Riviera lifestyle. Needless to say, this sunny comeback is already delighting lovers of bold, sunshine-infused fragrances.

 

A Special Pop-Up in Le Marais

To celebrate 30 summers of Le Rem, REMINISCENCE is unveiling an exclusive pop-up in Le Marais, open to the public for one afternoon only on May 30. Visitors will discover a brand-new sensory journey imagined as an immersion inside the Riviera’s most iconic perfume bottle. Visual installations, olfactory experiences and interactive explorations of the fragrance’s precious raw materials will offer a fresh perspective on this timeless symbol of sensuality.

Still perfectly in tune with the times, Le Rem is also celebrating with a new collector’s edition bottle: an azure-blue design adorned with a jewel-like charm inspired by the house’s signature logo.

Good news for Do It In Paris readers: the first 50 visitors mentioning Do It In Paris at the pop-up will receive an 11mL travel size of Le Rem — the perfect handbag essential for summer.
