And how about jumping on the first plane for a fun venue in Milan? In less time it takes to circle Paris at rush hour, here we are in the capital of Italian fashion, high temple of trend.
Until 14 April, the Salone Del Mobile, a Professional fair dedicated to design and furnishings will be captivating all those who count in the universe of trendy architecture and avant-garde interior design. For this occasion, the Louis Vuitton boutique of the super chic Via Montenapoleone (akin to our avenue Montaigne) welcomes a showing of singular objects inspired by traveling.
A foldable stool, sleeping glasses, a monogram hammock … Fifteen Nomadic Objects were imagined by twelve of the most influent designers of the moment, who were given carte blanche to give their interpretations of Art and Travel. Amongst the most prestigious names one finds the Campana brothers, Patricia Urquiola or Thierry Gaugain, who participated in this by making unique pieces, limited editions, even prototypes in noble materials thanks to the know-how of the famous trunk maker.
We like : discovering exclusive pieces imagined by the best in terms of design.
The must : going to taste the gelati of Shockolat, an address that offers chocolate ice cream in twenty gourmet versions: cinnamon, vanilla, pistachio, tiramisu…
