The garden of the Rodin Museum, a paradise to be enjoyed all summer long

Musee Rodin Jardin

The most marvellous garde in Paris welcomes an outdoor exhibition, late night openings and picnics authorized on their pristine lawns. Three hectares of splendour finally reopened?

3 hectares of gardens in Paris

Worthy of Versailles, the French-style garden of the Rodin Museum is filled with shrubbery, perfectly geometric alleys, rose trees and fountains that would make good old Lenôtre green with jealousy.

It’s the ultimate romantic rendezvous for kissing (with or without mask) on a bench, and strolling between the monumental works of the artist— including the famous Thinker—the first one to find him is the winner!

Another arty happening this summer: an outdoor exhibition conceived like a foray in the vintage photography collections of the museum.

Picnic or happy hour

A real novelty this summer, Parisians can come chill during late night openings on Thursday night and be mesmerized in a garden of sculptures during a special visit..

The ultimate must? Staying for dinner and celebrating happy hour in their adorable small café Augustine in garden party mode. Or then showing up for an authorized picnic on the grass. Rosé, sandwiches and salads on a pretty table cloth: Monet could not have imagined a better spot for Parisiennes in need of culture and greenery.

Open 10am to 6:30pm, closed on Monday. Late night garden openings only on Thursday the 23rd and 30th of July, 6th and 13th of August until 9:30pm, special rate (€6), on line ticketing exclusively.
