Little Tops That Make a Statement for Under 50 €

Calling all shopping addicts on a budget: the Do It In Paris fashion team has found cute tops for under 50 € for every taste perfect to stay stylish even when the jacket comes off. We scoured everywhere to find a structured shirt, an evening top, a bohemian blouse, and even lavallière-collar shirts, the ultimate obsession of the season. Ready to swipe your card?

Oversize

Jonathan Anderson, the new Creative Director of Dior, keeps multiplying collaborations with Uniqlo via his label JW Anderson… and we love being able to wear his ideas at a low price. Now almost a staple at the Japanese brand, he signs the perfect white shirt: oversized but cinched at the waist. Gone are the overly strict models now, we can be stylish and comfortable, even in a shirt.

Bohemian

At H&M, we’re falling for the flowy bohemian blouse to be worn depending on your mood: open in a V-neck for a deceptively demure vibe, or tied like a Victorian collar for a bolder touch. We imagine it with oversized tailored Bermuda shorts or flared jeans for a full-on ’80s mood. The vibe? A look halfway between romance and sweet nostalgia.

All-rounder

We found at Stradivarius the long-sleeved tied-neck t-shirt in stretch fabric perfect for those uninspired mornings when you still want to look put-together. From a day at the office to an impromptu date, it’s the kind of piece you throw on without thinking, yet it always makes a statement with its pretty neckline.

Lavallière

At the editorial office, we’re totally obsessed with the lavallière-collar shirt trend. Paul Poiret and Gabrielle Chanel already embraced it to feminize menswear. So, of course, when we spotted it at Monoprix oversized, with a big bow and dark pink checks  resistance was futile! This retro-looking gem will quickly become the centerpiece of your outfits. Little tip: pair it with a mini skirt and high boots to break its “good girl” vibe.

Leopard

Leopard is one of those prints we just can’t quit  it always adds a sharp touch. La Redoute unveils the perfect oversized shirt with a mandarin collar. Buttoned up for a polished effect or slightly open with balloon sleeves for a freer vibe, wear it with wide tailored pants for a full-on girlboss look.

Mesh

Since Jean Paul Gaultier brought mesh tops back into the spotlight, we simply can’t get enough. Pull & Bear offers an ultra-fashion version with a Y2K spirit: printed, slightly sheer sleeves, and a little ring detail at the neckline that makes all the difference. Perfect for a fashion-only night out.

Denim

Mango manages to bring together the two hottest trends of the moment in one piece. We’re into this light-blue denim shirt featuring a cute bow collar. Urban country girls are bound to snatch up this new cult piece that ticks all the boxes: flirty, chic, and a bit retro.

Lace

Since we love two-in-one pieces, here’s the perfect black lace-effect camisole by Massimo Dutti — to style however you wish: sexy and daring enough for a date, yet equally gorgeous slipped under a V-neck sweater with that little lace detail peeking out to elevate your whole outfit.

Checks

The checkered shirt is the must-have banger piece. Marks & Spencer offers a killer version we picture open over a crop top and balloon pants for a city vibe, or buttoned up with cowboy boots for that country-chic mood we can’t quit on weekends.

Striped

The fluid, lightweight shirt can be worn all year round: in summer, open over a swimsuit; in autumn, tucked over a thin turtleneck as temperatures drop… Zara offers a perfectly oversized cut, just right, with fine stripes that give that effortless look we love so much.
