If colette were born in 2019, it would no doubt be a concept-store in the spirit of Pyramid.
The slightly zany project of cofounders, Vincent and Romain? Combining brands stemming from the digital universe, the DNVB, Digitally Native Vertical Brands, and highlighting them in a dedicated and ephemeral space at the heart of the Carrousel du Louvre. Gung ho in the new vein of trendy patriotism, the new address is right on target.
A French style art of living
Impossible not to be captivated by the superb facade of this new hot spot... Behind a large glass window display, the scenography of the boutique sets the tone. Pyramid is a little bit like a French style art of livin.
Royal blue, solid white and bright red: pipes featuring the colours of the French flag, in an installation recalling a modern day scaffolding, are in perfect harmony with the revisited toile de Jouy covering the walls.
Twenty up and coming labels
Here, one finds (almost) only the new Made in France most well-known brands, on each stand filled with objects of desire.
Our heart throbs? Naïa, the poetic and sexy chic green lingerie (€32 for a tanga), Izipizi, glasses invading Insta feeds (€ 35 a pair), the splendid dried flower bouquets of Monsieur Marguerite (€ 49.90), Joone, the ultra clean brand of treatments baby diapers with darling (starting at €29,90 a set), and Waekura, hand-made jewellery, gold plate, at small prices (starting at €20 for a ring).
And last but not least, fifty animations have been planned until end of December: inspiring entrepreneur talks, yoga classes and DIY flower wreath workshops. A real 2.0 venue.
Open very day from 10am to 8pm, except on Tuesday from 11am to 6pm.
